"FLASHFORWARD" AND "V" TO RETURN WITH ALL-ORIGINAL EPISODES IN MARCH 2010

"FlashForward" Returns Thursday, March 4, and "V" on Tuesday, March 30

"FlashForward" and "V" will return to the ABC schedule in March 2010, allowing for both shows to air uninterrupted through the end of the season. After last night's episode, "FlashForward" will return on Thursday, March 4, 2010 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), and "V" on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), moving to its new timeslot following "Lost."

From 8:00-9:00 p.m. on Thursday, ABC freshman "FlashForward" is a dominant No. 1 in the hour with Adults 18-34 and also among hard-to-reach Men 18-34. "FlashForward" stands as TV's No. 1 new drama this season among Adults 18-34 (tied with ABC's "V"). Additionally, "FlashForward" is drastically improving its time period year to year for ABC, growing the hour by 1.7 million viewers (11.1 million vs. 9.4 million) and by 23% in Adults 18-49 over the same point last season.

"FlashForward" stars Joseph Fiennes as Mark Benford, John Cho as Demetri Noh, Jack Davenport as Lloyd Simcoe, Zachary Knighton as Bryce Varley, Peyton List as Nicole Kirby, Dominic Monaghan as Simon, Br?an F. O'Byrne as Aaron Stark, Courtney B. Vance as Stanford Wedeck, Sonya Walger as Olivia Benford and Christine Woods as Janis Hawk.

David S. Goyer, Brannon Braga and Jessika Borsiczky are executive producers. "FlashForward" is from ABC Studios.

Television's number one new drama this season in the key Adult 18-49 sales demographic, "V" delivered substantial year-to-year improvement in Tuesday's highly-competitive 8:00 p.m. hour, boosting ABC by 48% in the time period during its November Sweep run (4.3/11 vs. 2.9/7). Opposite established competition, including CBS' time-slot veteran "NCIS" and NBC's "Biggest Loser," "V" finished No. 1 in its hour among Adults 18-34 and key Men (M18-34/M18-49).

I'm glad to hear that FlashForward is doing so well. Maybe they'll wait till next year to cancel it. Hopefully they keep V around, too, but it's really still too early to tell if it's going to be worth it; the good stuff hasn't even really started yet.

I think the first four episodes and the cliffhanger was strong enough to make people at least tune in again in March. It's almost like Tyler is getting recruited to join the Dark Side.

ABC Looks To Terminator For 'V' Boost

Some observers may be preparing the eulogies for the freshman ABC series "V," but not the network itself.

Sources have told Airlock Alpha that two new producers have started on "V" this month, and they should be familiar to genre fans.

John Wirth and Natalie Chaidez are the newest additions to the "V" staff, making the move from "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" where Wirth was an executive producer and Chaidez was a co-executive producer. An ABC spokesman has confirmed that Chaidez will become a co-executive producer of "V" while Wirth will serve as a consulting producer.

Sources say the two are expected to be a huge boost to the show's writing team, and signal what could be continued confidence in the long-term vitality of "V" by ABC.

The move comes in the midst of shakeups behind the scenes, including the recent decision to replace showrunner Scott Peters with "Chuck" executive producer Scott Rosenbaum on the eve of "V's" November premiere. Peters, best known for his work with USA Network's "The 4400," had reportedly only helmed one episode of the series which aired four hours in November and won't return until late spring.

"V" got a solid start with viewers when it premiered Nov. 3 with an overnight 8.5 rating/13 share, according to Fast National ratings from The Nielsen Co. That was more than enough to place it on top of all genre shows for the first week of sweeps, and even finish in 10th place among non-news, non-event programming.

However, by its second week, "V" fell by more than 22 percent, and would eventually finish its initial run with a 6.7/10 average, 21 percent off its premiere.

Wirth and Chaidez do bring impressive resumes to the table. Chaidez wrote four episodes of "Sarah Connor," which was canceled by Fox last season. She also was a co-executive producer for NBC's "Heroes" in 2006 and 2007 writing the episodes "Better Halves" and "The Fix." Other shows she worked on include "Judging Amy" and "New York Undercover."

Wirth has been a key part of several popular shows over his career including "Sarah Connor," "Ghost Whisperer," "Nash Bridges" "Picket Fences" and "The District." He wrote four episodes of "Sarah Connor," including the popular episode "The Turk."

Jane Badler ( Diana from V: The Original ) has just had a meeting with one of the shows Producers in Los Angeles.. Jane said ? Sure hope I am back on V waiting to hear but had a great meeting in LA with producer and I seemed to impress him.. He was excitied about the thought of me on the show so FINGERS CROSSED..?

What kind of role will she be given? A Visitor? Maybe the mother of Anna, giving the show a 3 Generation.. Lisa, Anna and Anna?s Mother? Will she become a member of the Resistance? Only time will tell..

I saw Jane Badler someplace yesterday where she talked about eating that mouse in the original series, and they had her take a real mouse and fit it in her mouth or something lol kinda funny in a sick way. I'm sure PETA was happy with that...

If she gets a role in the new V, where is my Marc Singer!!!!!!11111111

With the battle between the reptilian visitors and the human resistors

set to heat up this spring on V, the ABC series has cast three actors in new roles I previously teased. They are:

UK actor Charles Mesure, who played Archangel Michael on Xena, Warrior Princess and J.D. Pollack on Crossing Jordan, will be recurring as mercenary Kyle Hobbes. Kyle is an in-demand black ops expert who forms an unlikely alliance with the resistance when he?s hired by Erica (Elizabeth Mitchell), Ryan (Morris Chestnut), Jack (Joel Gretsch) and Georgie (David Richmond-Peck) to strengthen their fight against the Vs.

Canadian actor Nicholas Lea (X-Files, Andromeda, CSI, Men in Trees and Kyle XY's Tom Foss) will be playing Erica's ex-husband who re-enters Erica and Tyler?s (Logan Huffman) lives at a crucial point in a two-episode arc.

And Canadian actress Lexa Doig, recognizable to sci-fi fans for her

roles in Andromeda, The 4400 and Stargate SG-1, has been cast as Dr. Leah Pearlman (not to be confused with Cheers barmaid Rhea Perlman). Dr. Pearlman is an OB/GYN treating Valerie Stevens (Lourdes Benedicto), who discovered she was pregnant in November?s cliffhanger. Will Dr. P be the one to detect that Val's unborn baby's looking a little green around the gills? And may have scales? And a tail....? We'll find out this spring!

Trucco, who is best known for his role on Battlestar, Final Five Cylon Sam Anders, will appear in one episode slated to air April 13. Let's hope we see much more of John May!

It was the seminal moment in the original V?s ?80s run ? the delivery of Robin?s lizard twins. Now ABC?s new V, returning March 30, will give birth to its own version.

The alien lizard is gestating in human Valerie (Lourdes Benedicto), unaware that her baby daddy Ryan (Morris Chestnut) is a reptile. According to newly instated exec producer Scott Rosenbaum, before the series breaks for summer, fans will have an idea of what?s been born ?and an understanding of what could be coming.?

While Robin developed a green ring around her neck as her due date neared, that won?t happen to Val. Rosenbaum is planning his own series of creepy prenatal reveals: ?The birth is going to be less interesting than the stories beforehand. What happens when the baby kicks? Or when Val gets her ultrasound??

I can just hear the ob-gyn now: ?Oh, look, it?s a boy. No, wait?that?s a tail.?

    • Steam Next Fest returns with thousands of new demos to try out by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Valve has been routinely kicking off demo festivals on Steam for years now, and the second drop of 2026 has just opened its doors. It's a great opportunity for any PC gamers to find some interesting games before they release. The June edition of Steam Next Fest is a week-long digital festival including gameplay slices from a large number of indie developers, though a few major publishers are involved this time too. Interested players can use the Next Fest hub page's various sorting and filtering options to easily sort through the hordes of demos available. The top buttons offer quick access to separate and important sorting options, including "By Genre, By Theme, By Feature," with each one offering more granular settings when clicked. At the same time, the built-in Steam tags system is also available below every page to discover new games more quickly. As always, logging in will also enable Steam gamers to utilize Valve's recommendation algorithms to find game demos they might like, specifically, depending on their past play and purchase histories. This time there is even a toggle now to swap between getting a random and personalized selection as Valve collects more data on the available demos. The Charts section is where you can find the most popular demos on the platform right now, offering up the most hyped titles in a simple list. Right at the kickoff, Mistfall Hunter, Empulse, Echoes of Aincrad, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Over the Hill, Mortal Shell II, and more are trending. Expect this list to change as the week progresses. This edition of the Steam Next Fest is slated to end on June 22 at 10 AM PT. Valve's latest event is now open, and it can be accessed by going to the dedicated hub page here.
