Well it seems like there are some old-timers who have seen the mini-series from a long time ago. So for those people, this might come across as a bad "remake" or simply tune out expecting the show to get straight into the action. But, for people like me who have never seen the mini-series, every episode counts in building up the basic precedence. The worst thing for any show is if they rush into the main storyline too quickly and then if season 2 gets a green light, the storyline just tanks because already they used all their initial ideas.

Yeah I have never seen the old series and for me this is just awesome I was the same with BSG, never saw the original and adored the remake!

This series is a remake of a crap series of the past. abc kills eastwick which had potential for this crappy wannabe series i hope it dies fast and doesnt have retarded fans that keep it on the air like some other crappy series i know of

This version of V was filmed like a year ago. ABC didn't kill off anything for it. We're lucky it's even airing.
