He's close but not quite there, get the samsung PN50A650 or the panasonic TH-50PZ85U. Go with a plasma, better black levels, much faster refresh rate which are both important if you like gaming. Before you go and decide that you just have to have 120 Hz on your LCD please go look at it in person. Personally, I can't stand the way LCD's make the picture into 120Hz, in a lot of cases it adds artifacts to the image, I think it is bad technology. All TV's sold in the last year must have an ATSC tuner so you won't have to worry about that. The newest plasmas put out heat about like an LCD does, in some cases the plasma will be cooler.
