I've installed it and now i have no sound. (menu or in-game) A lot of people have the same issue according to the Call of Duty forums.

Seems to be a Vista issue.

I'm running Vista 64-bit with Realtek sound.

Exact same problem. Sound issue with the first patch, new sound issue with this patch.

Vista x64 as well here.

If a fix is found, please post it.

Uninstall Realtek audio drivers and use default Microsoft High Def Audio; sound is fine that way.

I am sure that would help if I had that.

I have a creative x-fi and all my games work as it should except this one. No sound what-so-ever since installing this patch today.

So should I not download and install this patch? Also X64 here. I came back to you guys last night, built my first new gaming PC in over 3 years, and COD5 came with my graphics card so I figured why not.

This is a PC patch however these updates are likely to be released later to the consoles too.

That would be most excellent, i normally hate Makin, but Makin in the daytime sounds quite cool.
