Yeah red is the next scheme that's being added then maybe black.

I know the renaming thing is annoying but it's not the fault of this visual style. It seems Windows doesn't play nice with Verdana as JagedEdge pointed out, it doesn't really bother me though so for now it's not being changed. You can always choose Tahoma 8 from the Font Size list.

sharkk: I'm not so sure that's a bug, I've tried other visual styles and the same thing happens. It even looks that way in Luna but I'll look into it.

Here's Ergonomic, note the slightly modified taskbar buttons and shellstyle. Let me know what you think.

Seems nice! I like the taskbar buttons. Gonna do that for the rest of the schemes? :D

hey giga, the new buttons look good. its a great touch...little, but gives them style or something. i like the ergo color...looks good.

about the bug: i talked to brochaos and he's got the same problem.....its not c10k or classix related.....any theme can get that....i dont know under what circunstances. guess we all will just wait till someone finds out how to fix it.

if u ever need one more beta tester im up for it....got plently of time. see ya.

I'll make log off and switch user bitmaps but the only problem is that you'd also have to edit the 'dialog' resource in shell32.dll and that might be considerably more difficult to do for some people than just replacing a system file. I don't want to feel responsible when people nuke their pc's. I've thought about making a patch file that'll do it for you but I don't have the time to look into it right now. For now feel free to use the bitmaps aitf311 posted and I can't stress enough to be careful when replacing or modifying your system files.

Thanks guys, and to reiterate - Red and possibly Black color schemes coming in the next update, along with Ergonomic of course. No idea when it'll be ready so I won't even mention any dates. :p

I just noticed that Bose made a msgina.dll for his VS and he has both log on dialog and the shut down one so are you sure we are going to have to replace files in shell32.dll?

someone make this clear for me, cuz am really confused.

is it possible to download single color thats been made rite now. cuz juss a few posts up, nemo said he's gonna go download it as soon as he gets home!

and also, does the classix or classix10k have some sort of official website?

    • Yup, broke my comp… again. its times like this when I regret AMD. This just never happens on NV.
    • Huh? You're delusional calling the Steam Deck dead. It is so successful that it has sold out multiple times. Even after the price hike this year it sold out again with 24 hours of being back in stock. The demand is real and has not died down even after four years.
