WOW !! What an awesome theme :D

Great job all of you :)

Just a quick question though - where can I get these bluecurve icons? (sorry i did a search, but it only pointed me to a few 50+ page threads lol)

And also, is there any chance of having a colour scheme where the grey colour (task bar background, window background) is more like the top colour in gigatexel's sig?

Edit - never mind, i found them:)

Edited by Flip_Kid

here's a little bug i found...

i dont know if this is cause i modded the theme (but i just modified the start button using reshacker)......so, here it is. i dont know if it happens with the other color schemes.....im just trying blue for now.

bug.jpg

hope u can sort it out. and yeah.....i'd like to have the ergo scheme....i want a lighter blue :D

great theme.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this ???

Whenever I want to rename a folder on the desktop half of it dissapears and only apears after finish typing

So I couldnt see while typing whether it's correct or not.

Or is it intended this way ???

I noticed this in classix and also classix 10k

It was the only thing that stopped me using it

even after several updates on classix it still wasnt fixed....maybe it's something wrong with my pc....but I guess not...since already reformatted...

... So I was hoping that classix 10k wouldnt have the same issue

but unfortunately it does.

Maybe theres a way to make it behave like normal...since I dont see anyone else complaining

Hopefully someone could help

Since I would really love to use this great theme

Thanks

Are you using the Veranda 7 Font? If you switch to the Tahoma 8 under font size i belive this goes away.

OK WTF is up with this?! I had this problem with the original Classix.

WHATEVER I change the icon font to, it ALWAYS stays the same in folders and only changes for the desktop. Is there a way of fixing this?

Example:

Also, WHY do you not post the icons and wallpaper you use?

 What's your problem? You don't have to be so bitchy. I think you might have to change one more setting. Either that or your computer is screwed up. And what do you mean by "Also, WHY do you not post the icons and wallpaper you use?" We could say the same for you? Why do you not post your shell32.dll and wallpaper? Is it because your shell32.dll is just the normal Luna? Still doesn't explain about the wallpaper. Have a nice day. :D

Annihil8or: People make themes for everybody, it takes time and effort. Now if you can't respect and appreciate that, and not post a question in a civil manner, **** off.

I WANT I WANT I WANT is the most irritating attitude, why would anyone want to help you after a post like that? I certainly wouldn't.

You know, you can always request someone to post their icons/wallpaper in a calm manner and i'm pretty sure they will be happy to oblige you. And search around the forums, you'll find that alot of this stuff has been posted just not in this thread which is specifically for the theme itself

,Apr 19 2003, 16:24] giga, you will include the red scheme that I did?

Yeah red is the next scheme that's being added then maybe black.

I know the renaming thing is annoying but it's not the fault of this visual style. It seems Windows doesn't play nice with Verdana as JagedEdge pointed out, it doesn't really bother me though so for now it's not being changed. You can always choose Tahoma 8 from the Font Size list.

sharkk: I'm not so sure that's a bug, I've tried other visual styles and the same thing happens. It even looks that way in Luna but I'll look into it.

Here's Ergonomic, note the slightly modified taskbar buttons and shellstyle. Let me know what you think.

    • I wonder how many are laid off for cost savings, and this being blamed on AI to make it sound less scary and bad, for a more positive "modern, with the times" spin for investors? Because Oracle is down 14% the past year. We're looking at a company struggling here. If AI would actually be working out so well for them that they can do massive layoffs, surely this would've been reflected the past year in their stock value?
    • AI is the beginning, wait until real robots replace more jobs, specifically jobs that require physical work.
    • AI is indeed eliminating jobs, and Oracle just proved it by Hamid Ganji There’s no question that AI has become the hottest trend in workplaces, and every company is trying to adopt AI-driven solutions across its operations. While some industry leaders repeatedly say AI won’t lead to massive layoffs, recent data suggest that AI is actually one of the main reasons some companies are reducing their workforce. According to Oracle’s annual regulatory filing, the company has laid off about 21,000 employees, or 13% of its workforce, amid increasing AI adoption. “The adoption and deployment of AI technologies across our operations have resulted, and may continue to result, in reductions to our workforce,” Oracle said in the filing. The software giant now has approximately 141,000 full-time employees, a notable decrease from 162,000 during the same period last year. Restructuring expenses, including severance payments, cost Oracle $1.84 billion in fiscal 2026. Additionally, around 49,000 Oracle employees were based in the U.S., while approximately 92,000 were employed internationally. Like many other companies, Oracle has fully embraced AI and concentrated much of its efforts on the technology. The company is also a key participant in the United States’ $500 billion Stargate Project, which aims to build multiple AI data centers across the country. When it comes to AI adoption and its impact on the workforce, opinions remain divided. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, whose company has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of the AI boom, recently said in an interview that attributing job cuts to AI is a “lazy” narrative. “The narrative that connects AI to job loss, for many of the CEOs that are doing it – it is just too lazy. AI has just arrived, how is it possible they're already losing jobs?” Huang said. However, statistics and recent reports tell a different story. According to Layoffs.fyi, 196 tech companies have laid off about 119,800 employees so far this year. Reducing staff and replacing roles with AI agents could become one of the most significant trends in the job market in the years ahead.
