What is your favourite game of all time?

Max Payne 1. Brilliant storyline - the whole game had this whole bleak underworld thing going on which made it very atmospheric - especially when shooting thugs in gritty run down areas of town. I think I'm going to install it again and play it through for about the 6th or 7th time.

For me it was Sensible World of Soccer - I spent much of the 90s totally hooked on this. A close second is the Monkey Island series - second because it was great fun to play on your own, but as a kid I always played games with friends and SWOS was great for having tournaments with friends and colleagues, and third was Speedball 2 - which again took a great deal of my time in the 90s playing tournaments with friends.

These days I never get the chance to play games like I used to because of other commitments (I'm lucky to get 2-3 hours per week, as you can tell from my gamerscore on XBox!). I think WoW is lightyears ahead of other games, I've come to really enjoy the Pro Evolution series and I've really got to like Fable 2 and Fallout 3 recently, although many games seem too similar and innovation doesn't seem to be in the developers minds when making new games any more - they just seem to churn out more of the same.

The original Tetris for me, along with the original King's Quest.

Honorable mentions include NARC, Mercs, the original Wrestlemania arcade cabinet, Silent Scope (come on next gen remake!) and Street Fighter 2 Turbo Edition.

    • Tor Browser 15.0.17 by Razvan Serea Protect your privacy. Defend yourself against network surveillance and traffic analysis. Tor is a network of virtual tunnels that allows people and groups to improve their privacy and security on the Internet. The Tor software protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world: it prevents somebody from watching your Internet connection and learning what sites you visit, it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location, and it lets you access sites which are blocked. The Tor Browser Bundle lets you use Tor on Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux without needing to install any software. It can run off a USB flash drive, comes with a pre-configured web browser to protect your anonymity, and is self-contained. • Yes, it was amusing at the time because even then dbrand was well known for stealing the designs of products from other companies. That’s what they do.
