[Official] Killzone 2

It was good fun earlier.

I'll have to sort my mic out, I'm not sure if you can hear me a lot of the time, that or I'm just singing and no one is saying anything. :D

Multiplayer feels really solid and I do love it, though LethalSaber came in and stole my place in the squad so I was on my own with no one to talk to. :'(

I also think my mic might be dying off completely, but I shall wait and see, might have been when I spilt my Tea near the Ps3, might have covered the mic a little, totally ruined my Burnout Cover.

I'll have to jump on a bit alter, but it will be too late to use the mic.

My bad, I didn't mean to. Was going to create my own squad, but I wasn't at the rank to be able to yet.

And then I saw an invite and I just joined. Didn't know that squads were limited to 4 people.

Anyways now I can start making them so I'll be making my own squads, so anyone who wants to joined is welcomed just send an invite.

Once we all play together more we'll probably have multiple squads going in one match (Y)
I hope so :)

I've played for 5.5 hours online now according to the stats :p and I've come across two or three games where people who were joining my squad were actually listening to what I had to say and/or talked as well...

Not that I'm the greatest tactician in the world - but hey, it's damn sure effective if you know how to flank someone on certain maps and you come knocking with for guys loaded with SMGs in the back of their frontline...

I just got the game and will be ready to go in about 40 - 50 mins if anybody is around still. If not ill do a bit of solo multiplayer to get the feel of it till tomorrow when I can hopefully join you guys.

Tonight I will be without a mic but I will have one for tomorrow.

PSN account is Green_Eye_09

Munky add me as soon as possible please dude cos I cannot be arsed to go through this whole thread just

I don't think I'll be touching single player anytime soon. The multiplayer is just too awesome. :D

Nice playing with some of you guys earlier. Were you guys able to hear me when I talked? I was using an old SOCOM headset since my official headset was charging, and I don't know if the mic still works or not lol. I could hear you guys talking though.

Yeah I talked to you when you killed me / I killed you :p

Could hear you fine (Y)

Corris' headset was weird at first but then he sorted it. AJ needs to sort his still. AB needs to learn to turn his on! :p

I'll get my bluetooth headset charged, and join you next time. For now, came out of the game, long day tomorrow.

Damn best MP match I've played yet. Good set of classes doing the rounds now, tacticians spawn points are really useful.

And I got the first shot of the sniper rifle - Kicks ass :p I took out about 5/6 guys with it before the ammo clip ran out. I take it 5x zoom is an unlock yeah?

Unlocked Medic now as well.

ps. Looks like I will be going into Glasgow tomorrow night, but I'll be on as much as I can through the day.

Definitely had fun before when I checked it out. Wish work was not bothering me those last two matches though.

Will definitely be on tomorrow early evening my time which means around 11-12 your guys time, but possibly sooner than that.

Played a couple more games, I'm now ranked Major. With that I unlocked Tactician and they can use spawn grenades. Basically smoke grenades that let team mates spawn at that point. Pretty handy (Y)

All I need now is Scout, Assault and Saboteur. Scout is the one I'm after (Y) :D Only 1331 points to go! So I may have it by this time tomorrow, seeing as I've got 1469 points in just one day.

@DL, I should be online then. I'll try wake up earlier than usual :p

Thats quite a bit of points.......how many hours did that take u?

Damn, the Battle Replay on the killzone website is really damn cool.

In fact the whole damn site is impressive.

I have to say, it is a little discouraging that DM is already half way through ranking up if I am reading what he said correctly, as that seems really quick to me and I like incentive to keep playing a MP game. I have to say my first impression of playing is one of intrigue. I was not completely sold, but I definitely enjoyed myself and had fun, and see the potential for us all having fun playing together, so I think strictly based on that fact it will have a long life span, but again does seem very quick to fully rank up.

    • Onwards to Windows 12 then lol.
    • There is a long thread (128pgs and counting) that I've been following over at ElevenForums that has a method for updating Secure Boot even if there is no BIOS upgrade. I've used this method and had zero issues. NOTE:  I do not take any responsibility if this or any other Secure Boot method bricks your system -- YMMV!  Read carefully before using!
    • Yes, yes, YES, thank you AMD. Now display audio, night light, cleartype, etc, all work again.
