I?ve been a member for almost 6 years, and a reader for over 7, Does that make me a "old timer"?

Something about Neowin just made me stick aroun:):)

Incidentally, I joined exactly 4 years ago. All because of a XP support related question. :D Think I started reading this site since the summer of 2004, thanks to a few linked news clips from Wincustomize.com.

At least my member # is the last of the 5-digits :p

Lurker from 2001 to 2003, then finally joined in August 2003.

Since then, for 5.5 years, I made 1,224 (this is the 1,225th) posts.

Good to see the majority of the "old timers" don't have the high post counts.

I often came here to learn something from what others ask.

I've been a member since October 2001 also, learning about the XP beta, I was a sophmore in high school now I'm nearly a year out of college. Now here we are with another point release that I don't see a need for...

Geez...8 years! I dont post much, but i've been checking neowin almost everyday since i registered. It's insane how time flies. I think i came to neowin with the same intention as the OP...XP beta.
