The 9.2 driver works fine, what doesn't work is CCC. I can't get it to work, I get a crash error saying that CCC isn't compatible with the current version of driver.

Works fine for me as well here, no problems whatsoever. I did a fresh install of 7048.

Thanks.

Hi,

Driver sound max for audio integrated (Analog Devices AD1986A @ nVIDIA nForce 430 (MCP51) - High Definition Audio Controller PCI)

NOT work :o

In the build 7022...working normally...

Very compliments MS!

My system is not most recent (athlon 64 3,2 , 2 gb of RAM drr 400, Nvidia 8400 and HD WDC 320 GB... ), but respect an XP (in absolute the better operating system than MS) and to Linux. Vista and Seven turn out to be truly and uselessly abnormal!

build pre beta WAS NOT so, indeed the opposite one, seemed the carried out one!

Overall 7048 is running good. I have noticed some bugs though. But hey, it's a beta right?

1) WEI is not reliable and very buggy.

2) Shutdown and restart takes over 5 minutes and does not complete successfully.

3) Dell TouchPad driver is not working right.

4) I have to supply username and password still after re-booting for mapped drives in a workgroup.

is this problem resolved?

i have a problem with copy-pasting. dunno whether it a known issue.

my problem is, i cant copy/cut - paste any file on folder in Libraries (documents/music...)

i have to open up that particular folder to paste the content.

copyr.th.jpg

in this pic you can see the "paste" option is missing.

You guys must be mad testers because I have yet to experience any bugs with 7048. Actually, there was one. Remember the right-click problem in Vista where if you right clicked a file and it would function as if you were right clicking an empty area? I think I got that a few times

Is there a problem like memory leaks in this build?? Because after using it for around 10mins my laptop slows to an almighty crawl and I have to re-start.

Never had anything like this on 7022 or 7000. :( Might have to drop back to 7022 for now.

The only problem I have is that this build does not recognize my Intel imsm RAID controller and I think this is causing my WEI rating to go down too, other than that I miss the "BladeRunner" font which is gone in this build, The new method to strech and shrink the superbar is awesome, very good Microsoft.

whats this? I am curious to know more about it

It's hard to explain for me, you would have to see it to understand it, maybe I didn't use the right words, the thing is that now you can fit a lot more icons on the superbar and as it fills it starts to automatically shrink or contract so that more items fit, eventually you will get the little arrows that help you navigate to the new row of items in the superbar when you add too many icons to it though.

I have this ability in 7000 today.

Not really, in 7000 you had a set number of icons you can add and when it fills out you see the arrows, now it takes many more items for the arrows to show, and as you add icons or open programs you can actually see the superbar visually strecthing or shrinking.

iTunes is acting odd, AGAIN.

It's got a mind of its own, sometimes it opens, sometimes I could click the icon for ages and nothing appears.

Task manager shows its there and taking up 23,080k. That never increases and it should be more. I end the process and try again and again. It always hits 23,xxx usage and we know it should be higher.

I just tried to understand but if you don't mind, any chance for a video on youtube ? :p

So is this build going to be the RC?

No, the UAC issue still hasn't been fixed in this build and it definitely cant be RC... Its sort of pre-RC build for internal testers

Ah right, thanks. I think I'll skip it then until a build leaks thats definitely the RC, or just get the RC. Now the main question is whether to go 32 or 64bit.

    • Can you read? I've said I'm willing to pay more for a notchless (no notch) 3:2 screen.
    • Not even an OLED display on the laptops. Also it seems that the laptop design isn't the same as the Surface Ultra model. Looks like bargain bin at high prices.
    • make your own notch - it's not that hard
    • VirtualBox 7.2.10 by Razvan Serea VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software. Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Solaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4, 2.6, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x), Solaris and OpenSolaris, OS/2, OpenBSD, NetBSD and FreeBSD. Some of the features of VirtualBox are: Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox. Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers. • OK, now ask yourself how are they going to enforce that law? By requiring every single adult to prove their age and provide their legal identity documents to an UNREGULATED 3rd party company that already has a long track record of multiple data breaches. Not to mention, parliament have voted AGAINST this ban, twice, and Starmer is going ahead anyway. So, where's the democracy here, because that looks like dictatorship to me. The solution here is parental responsibility, not government control. Run some public service announcements on TV and UK social media teaching parents how to setup parental controls. That's already been proven to actually work. But the, this is not and has NEVER been about keeping kids safe. It's about control and monitoring. Watching what you're doing online and controlling what you can see and what you can say.
