I have had my Dual Screen setup with Windows 7, 7000, 7022, 7048 and now 7057.

Only 7057 has this bug and is very annoying and apparent.

I have 2 Screens Dell 2309W @ 1920x1080 and Dell 2209WA @ 1680 X 1050. I've tried setting them the same resolution (1680x1050), switching which is the main display but I still have the same problem. I can only use 10% of my right desktop. Anything I put more on the right DISAPEARS !!! I cant even Drag and drop there.

Take a look at the screen shot to better understand what I mean. I tried to select max on both screens and look how it gets cut off, and look at my recycle bin and the jpg file now there cut in half.

My setup is an XPS M1330 Laptop with Nvidia 8400M GS, with HDMI and VGA on 2 Screens.

Thanks for any input :p

Try installing nvidia 181.22 WDM 1.0. I've solved same issue with this driver (but on different hardware)...

ciao.

Could be possible that you've modified the screen positions? I know Ubuntu has a similar feature where you can move the monitors around to show where it's positioned, I'm just wondering if Windows now has the same feature and could be causing the problem.

I have a similar issue on a dual screen - 1280*720 (tv) and 1280*1024 (monitor).

All the icons completely disappear if I pull they to the monitor, they appear fine on the TV.

I'm using an old 9600 ATI graphic card. Never had this problem before :/

Sorry to say this....but this build drop with nvidia drivers (WDM 1.1 and WDM 1.0). I've a general degradation in video performance, in 3D business and other GPU intensive apps. Besides I've lost 2 points (!!) in aero WEI score...

So...I hope this build have nothing to do with RC. :(

ciao

    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • I have disabled it, but the app is still taking space. I have a Mac and it is only possible to disable Ai on that, but I think that bit does get rid of the AI components after a while. What we are told is that we agree to all this when we use the devices as it is in the end user agreements, their software, they can do what they like. I doubt that any bill will happen in the U.S, the government there are in league with big tech firms. The E.U maybe, they seem to have some guts when it comes to tech companies. The U.K is not in the E.U, but some things still affect us. Our government is as gutless when it comes to tech companies as the U.s government.
