Andrew Lyle Global Moderator Posted March 16, 2009 Global Moderator Share Posted March 16, 2009 If your wondering what Microsoft Tag is, it is basically a tag that your mobile device can read by taking a picture of it, send the results to Microsoft and return the information. Some companies use it to link users to home pages, text information, a vCard, and even a phone number. What's your opinion on it?
sensurround
Sounds very similar to QR codes Unfortunately, my cell phone is just a phone so I can't do anything cool like this with it.

DanManIt
Its pretty cool. There's software out already for this sort of thing though
Sir Topham Hatt
Never heard of it. I won't be checking it out. Until it becomes something widly adopted in companies/packaging, then there's not much point as only a few phones and companies will have it. GrimReeper
At the moment I've only seen QR codes used in bad efforts to drive traffic to sites.
sundayx Veteran Posted March 28, 2009 Veteran Share Posted March 28, 2009 QR codes are used extensively in manufacturing, and Japan. I have one on my card as my vCard sort of thing.
