Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Film)

Recommended Posts

Can't wait for part 2 of this film, but I have to admit part 1 didn't quite live up to what I thought it would be. Still a pretty good film :)

I watched it today... it might be because I haven't read the books but I was dissapointed, thought it was the worst one so far, nothing very much really seemed to happen.

Yeah it actually sticks to the books this one.. Its why alot of people who have read the books are raving about it. But a bunch of people who just follow the movies not raving about it. Dont worry the next episode will contain more then enough for you :)

It is confirmed that 'Harry Potter' character

Severus Snape aka the Half-Blood Prince is going to die in the Boathouse in the upcoming 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part 2'.

So what's the big deal? It is big deal for us 'Harry Potter' fans, because in the book, Snape dies in the Shrieking Shack and not in the Boathouse and of course Snape is a big character he is a key, and everybody loves him.

So why in the Boathouse? The creative team of the film wants to give a romantic ending for Snape. The team wanted to change a bit where Snape dies and to get him out from, not a conventional interior, but from that kind of box, to do it in a more dramatic atmosphere.

So what's the Boathouse? A crystal house, where you can see what happens in the boat house from there. It is near the lake and a very romantic place to die.

Hmm...whilst this isn't a big change, am I not right in thinking that they wanted to make it into 2 parts so as not to miss anything out/make it more true to form? Ah well. Still going to watch it, and still going to love it.

I'm still seething about the decision to change Snape's location for his death. I just think that with everything else that the Shrieking Shack has been used for.. it just shouldn't change anything. I don't want to romanticize his death like that because it's not until AFTER his death we realize who Snape really was.

DAMN THESE 'CREATIVE' PEOPLES! :(

Warner Bros has released a first look photo of Matthew Lewis, one of the stars of the upcoming "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2," in character as Neville Longbottom with the fateful sword of Gryffindor - and he looks every bit as awesome as we imagined him. We don't want to spoil it for fans who haven't read the books (seriously, who are you people?) but let's just say that Neville will get his hero moment before the franchise is over.

In an interview with SnitchSeeker, Lewis explains that the final scene of the film -- the "epilogue" if you will -- had to be re-shot because paparazzi and onlookers swarmed the cast the first time they tried to shoot it.

"They were really rushed and they didn't get what they wanted," he says. "So they felt they could do it in the studio with no distractions. I spoke to David Yates recently. He's very happy in the editing room, he says. He said he's really enjoying it. So he must have everything he wants."

He teases that there's a Neville scene in the final movie that wasn't in the book. "It's a new one they put in. It involves a bridge, that's all I can say. Involves a bridge and Nick Moran," he says, referencing one of the Snitchers. "It took us weeks and weeks of night shoots and stunts and all kinds of stuff. If it's all in there - I hope it's in there because it took us so bloody long to do it - and if it's all kept in there the way we did it then it's going to be amazing. That's what I'm most looking forward to."

    • TeraCopy 4.0 Build 28 by Razvan Serea TeraCopy is a compact program designed to copy and move files at the maximum possible speed, also providing you with a lot of features. Copy files faster. TeraCopy uses dynamically adjusted buffers to reduce seek times. Asynchronous copy speeds up file transfer between two physical hard drives. Pause and resume transfers. Pause copy process at any time to free up system resources and continue with a single click. Error recovery. In case of copy error, TeraCopy will try several times and in the worse case just skips the file, not terminating the entire transfer. Interactive file list. TeraCopy shows failed file transfers and lets you fix the problem and recopy only problem files. Shell integration. TeraCopy can completely replace Explorer copy and move functions, allowing you work with files as usual. TeraCopy is free for non-commercial use only. For commercial use you need to buy a license. The paid version of the program includes the following features: Copy/move to your favorite folders. Save reports as HTML and CSV files. Select files with the same extension/folder. Remove the selected files from the copy queue. Features added since version 3.17: Enhanced speed graph. New multi-threaded copy engine. Support for copying to multiple targets. Queue system for managing multiple copy operations. Support for receiving files via the LocalSend protocol. TeraCopy entry in the modern Windows Explorer context menu. Integrated toolbar in the title bar. Why receive LocalSend transfers with TeraCopy? Handle file conflicts: Skip, overwrite, or rename files when a file with the same name already exists. LocalSend always creates another copy, which can waste time and disk space, especially when resuming an interrupted transfer. Filter unwanted files: Apply ignore lists or remove files manually before accepting a transfer, so unnecessary files are not downloaded. Better performance on fast networks: In tests over a 10 Gbps connection, TeraCopy received files several times faster than the standard LocalSend app on Windows. TeraCopy 4.0 Build 28 changelog: Fixed a bug where Overwrite behaved as Overwrite All during same-drive move operations. AdvancedInstaller fixed the installer’s security vulnerability: EXE Bootstrapper resolved the %appdata% location incorrectly for the System account.
