They were always gonna do it in 3d. Even the previous one was supposed to be in 3D, but they felt that they didnt have enough time to create a good 3D version, so dropped the plans.

My god that trailer is amazing. I can't WAIT for this movie now. It looks really good. After Part 1 was a little, short on action (but still good mind you) I figured Part 2 would be non-stop action and explosions. Looks like I was right :D

Does anyone know if theaters might be doing a double-feature when this is released? What I mean is show part 1, take an intermission, and then show part 2.

I know some of the cinemas around here are showing all the old films, it would have been awesome to buy one ticket and just go every night and see them all one after the other leading up the release.

But I guess I will have to do with watching them all at home on my sofa. :rofl:

Just saw the final film at the cinema at a preview and it was EPIC

Just got back from the screening. The movie was good, but

the ending was as I feared. The climax of the movie was almost entirely different than the book, and it completely ruined it. The rest of the movie did a great job of stuffing details from the book into the the plot, but the ending just sucked.
