EVE-Online: Neowin Corporation

Not bad, i am a huge fan of blasters as well. Nothing like rolling up in a Megathron with T2 Blasters doing 1K DPS. ;) Just decimate everything in its path. The Rohk makes a great blaster ship too.

Although my new character is 40M skillpoint Amarr toon all specced for PVP, not a single skill outside of PVP. 10M in drones 10M in gunnery, etc. Pulse Abaddon is in my future. You can do some crazy stuff with them.

GANKAGEDDON IN YOUR FACE!, the abaddon is just an expensive geddon imo, it tanks like a demon if trimarked and quad 1600 plated. but otherwise i just find a geddon more bang for your buck

though my current love lies with the hurricane its my newly discovered baby :p, untill i am able to fly a vagabond next week :D then i can fly 3 races of t2 upto command ship :D can fly amarr, galente currently and t1 minmatar bc's.

and, who needed a day to update to dominion :s, was a 500mb patch, 10-20 minutes tops..

Well, perhaps being able to train skills two weeks down the line would be nice. As it is you have to log in EVERY DAY unless you have a skill that lasts longer, which sucks if you go out on trips and such, or lose your computer.

lol

that's why there are skills like BS V and Cruiser V

loooooooooooong skills

i started playing Eve this year

my friend tells me that before that there was no skill queue at all

so you'd have to juggle all your skills all the time

I know that. The problem is you have to go through around 5-7 days of training depending on your learning skills before you can get to a level 5 anything. Newbies have the 200% boost but that won't help you if you are at BS already.

lol 5-7 days for level 5? Ohh I wish the skills I am getting from 4-5 took that long, on average its 3-4 weeks ;) But they are all rank 5, 6 and above.

eve online

solo friendly?

It's probably one of the least friendly solo games for pvp imo... Especially at first, you'd be lucky to get one relatively even pvp battle...People don't fight unless they know they will win, so if you do see an easy target, a lot of the time they have friends waiting to warp in. :p

I mean to get ready for level 5, not to get a level 5.

Click your people and places from the menu on the left. Search for corporation and type neowin. Show info on it, and you should see an apply to join link underneath. You no longer need to go to a station with an office to apply to the corp.

So, I just got accepted into Infinity Enterprises, part of the Atlas Alliance. I was wondering if anyone would train up Corporation Management to Level 1 and Ethnic Relations to Level 1 so I can hand over the CEO title to that person so the Corp won't disband.

atlaaaaaaaaaaas

they blew up WI's cap fleet last week

lol

i should be getting in to WI next month so i'll see you around for some pew pew ;)

Wooohoo finaly installed it.

Got a 14 day trial to see how it is, then if i like it I will start to pay.

No point in keeping this going. People are leaving and the others don't login, so its just going to make it harder for people just starting the game if they join.

I would be up for this, although my account has been dormant for a while as I lost interest... I am a hardcore rock muncher. Once I get home I will re-activate my account and let you know what the score is.

    • Microsoft kills AI-powered history search feature in Edge by Usama Jawad In June 2025, Microsoft began rolling out AI-powered history search functionality with Edge 138. The idea was simple: allow customers to use natural language phrases and synonyms to find their desired history items rather than matching keywords exactly. Although the company had already rolled out this capability in a phased manner, it has now decided to cancel it. In an update on its Microsoft 365 Roadmap, Microsoft has announced that it has decided not to move forward with AI-powered history search. The company has not detailed the exact reasoning behind this move, but it has apologized to customers for the inconvenience. The move is rather interesting as it seemingly could have improved user productivity. Edge users wouldn't have to worry about typos or exact keywords, and just focus on what they were trying to locate in their browser history. Microsoft had also assured users that an on-device AI model would be leveraged for this functionality, and no data would be sent to the cloud. IT admins also had the ability to control its availability through the EdgeHistoryAISearchEnabled policy. When the feature began rolling out last year, many of our readers called it creepy, noting that they couldn't trust Microsoft to keep their data on their device. Others also questioned its usefulness, saying that it's simply a way for Microsoft to insert more AI bloat into its products. Although the Redmond tech giant had stated that it will be more mindful about surfacing Copilot features in Windows 11 apps, we later discussed how this is mostly a rebranding exercise rather than an actual axing of AI functionalities. Indeed, a Microsoft executive later emphasized how they want to reshape Windows for the agentic AI era. That said, it does seem like at least AI-powered Edge history search isn't a part of that vision.
    • For you to jump on and defend your sweetheart? I agree, it didn't.
    • Not likely, of course, that we will see routine citizenship checks as they only involve compliance with existing federal voting laws already on the books for decades. This seems a non-issue entirely. Only fools would have the government rush headlong into an AI program few can understand or predict, or even debug...
