Whats up with monitor on the wicker basket? is it a old one? Or some sort of special type monitor? looks kinda weird, and ab it bulky.

Yes it does look a little outsized like that.

When the monitor is flat on the desktop it is too hard for me to read the things on the bottom of the screen. my eyes are poor so elevating it makes things easier for me. I use the wicker basket because it works.

PS I built the desk and the companion piece which my stereo receiver sits on. The glass for the desk I got for free. It is 52"x28"x7/16"

radiused,beveled tempered glass.

I look after our datacenter and servers at work. I use the bottom two monitors to get my work done. Then use the top and side monitors for the datacenter and server monitoring data.

ah, cool, cool...

My greatly smiplified home office, the Studio Hybrid got dumped due to my exceedingly fickle nature...

I don't game on the PC anymore so it's more about media management and streaming to the 360 and PS3 and the ability to work from home now and then. This gear handles it all quite well.

Please tell me you are running some RAID redundancy, I don't know what's up with people these days. They are setting up multi-terabyte RAID-0 setups with no back up because that RAID array is the back up, I mean, wtf?

Are you talking to someone else? I do backup to external drives on a schedule, and across PCs every night, but I hardly need that kind of redundancy.

Not sure if this was aimed at me, or who you where talking too, but my setup is raid 5 w/ any important data backed up nightly to my server in an Atlanta datacenter and then data is also copied to one of 3x external hard drives. (1TB each)

    • War was livestreamed. Also, learn the meaning of the word "genocide". Populations do not GROW during a genocide. Zionist is not a bad word - it's the belief that Israel should exist. The cat out of the bag is your racist anitsemitism and posting of blood libels, unproven or out of context. Even BBC reported a kid supposedly being killed was a staged photo op, and AP just posted how Hamas is murdering their own people at Shifa Hospital, executing them in cold blood. You would rather lie down with murderers than think any different.

    • You can disable the bloat on every browser. That's not the point. I will never use a browser of a shady company. I don't trust them at all. I can still find adblocking solutions than having to rely on a browser from a shady company.
