Busted Modem/Router

Hello all,

My connection has been acting pretty weird this week. It took me 5x just to upload a 10mb file on mediafire and file eventually gets corrupted too. But tested connection with microsoft's site a while ago and downloaded SP3 and everything seems fast and ok no disconnections or so. Also I cannot open a number of websites right now.(im using OpenDNS)

But I am having my doubts since power flactuations had been too much the past weeks and i dont use AVR for my modems and routers.. So how to check for modem/router damage?

Need your assistance on this..
