Since build 7077 all applications using Themida are instantly crashing with the following error message:

"Internal exception occured (Address: 0x0)" and some stuff about contacting the software developer.

Below a list of applications that were reported not to work in build 7077 (x86):

If you bumped onto another application that gives the same error, please PM/say something in this thread!

Thanks

Themida is a software protector.

* Protect an application against piracy.

* Prevents attackers from studying how an application is implemented.

* Will not allow attackers to modify an application to change its behavior .

I have no idea if it works, but it's probably just for app security. You can't see if the app is using it or not unfortunately...

[*]The Bat

Thanks

hmm, interesting. The Bat works on 7068 x64 fine. Does it work in compatibility mode at least?

one more question. Since x64 was leaked after this post, I assume this was tested on x86 only so far. Are the programs also crashing on x64?

Both x86 and x64 give this error and seeing as Nexon has stopped updating their Audition game, it probably won't ever get fixed.

alright, just got 7077 x64 installed. The Bat runs perfectly fine. I am using the latest version 4.1.11.

Norton Internet Security 2009 runs perfectly fine as well.

not sure but you can at least take The Bat off the list for x64.

Why in gods name would you want to run that bloatware anyway?

that would have been my comment a year ago as well. Note that NIS09 changed dramatically and is far from bloatware. Before you shoot somebody because of outdated presumptions you should at least try it. 360 is an entirely different story and should be used carefully with the reg cleaner etc. on an OS that is new.

Are mozilla planning on having firefox 3.5 tested on windows 7 for it to work, does anyone know. Seen as neobond said firefox has been crashing for him abit.

Based on the popularity of this beta, I'm certain it does. Also, I'm running 3.0.8 and it doesn't crash at all for me on a clean install of 7077.

Kaspersky Internet Security 8.0.0.506 seems to be partially working on win7 build 7077. it was well working till build 7057 but on later builds, its firewall (Kis firewall) is not working. further, Action centre gives message that " kaspersky virus protection is on but is reporting its status to Windows Security Center in a format that is no longer supported."

i think itunes is also not installing on 7077:S

Just finished installing iTunes. Working perfectly

Firefox was the first install after installing 7077. Installed fine and working just fine (3.0.8). Haven't had an issue with Firefox (3.0.7/3.0.8) in 7000, 7057, 7068 or 7077. Same goes for Firefox branch and Trunk builds.

    • This is weird. Mythos is more unrestricted compared to Fable. Technically it poses more risk!!
    • This is a great thing, I always have issues with Verizon while inside of certain football stadiums due to the saturation and walls blocking signal so a LOS way to connect would be great. Verizon was supposed to be offering sat data this year but I've not heard a word of it lately. Dude is sending rockets into space in a cheap manner, low waste foot print and has a great product with solar/battery tech. We would be so far behind China right now if not for him and a push to get back into space.
    • illegally? Proof of that? Seems you are posting misinformation or well a pure straight up lie cause there is zero proof of such a thing. But I get it...
