Ok I'll put it in terms of Volume's instead of seasons.

Volume 1 was great because it was all fresh and the whole storyline was just great.

Volume 2 was a let down and what annoyed me the most was Hiro being stuck back in the past. They dragged it on and moved very slow till the last few episodes of volume 2. It was worth a watch though, and not as bad as the ratings showed.

Volume 3 was part good and part bad. First half was not too great but the second half of the volume picked up and made it pretty good.

Volume 4 was a step in the right direction. I enjoyed 10 out of the 12 episodes very much (the two I didn't like so much was '1961' and 'Into Asylum'. The first episode was great and ended in suspense. The last episode was a great season ending with shocks eg Nathan dying (to the people who didn't read the spoilers, like me). I don't know if it is just me though I found volume 4 great except one thing. Claire is useless in the show, she is their for eye-candy and her storyline was only good in some parts.

Lets hope volume 5 will bring a new and fresh storyline and seriously give Claire a purpose instead of the same boring 'sit around want to fight crime, helps out, gets in trouble, back to the start' - Loop. If my memory serves me correctly, Claire's blood or Adam's was used to revive Noah when he was shot in the eye so wouldn't the same have an effect on Nathan?

After his family was captured by government agents, Micah assembled a team of specials to fight back. Together they called themselves "Rebel".

Meanwhile, Micah had been seen helping Matt Parkman and Peter Petrelli in their attempt to rescue Daphne Millbrook. But did we ever see the full story of what took place that day in Building 26?

If only every episode was as action packed as the GN this series would be even more amazing!

Mike in Alton, Ill.: I was wondering if you knew anything about the next season of Heroes.

Hiro's (Masi Oka) bloody noses and headaches are not going away next season on Heroes. In fact, it's going to be a cause for speculation on if we're going to lose another hero soon.

Some teases for next year!

We’re all very excited about the next volume of Heroes(volume 5) called “REDEMPTION.” All of our characters, in way or another, return to their normal lives after the turmoil and tragedy of “FUGITIVES.”

One of the big issues we’ll be exploring is how should a person with abilities live his or her life. Should they try to assimilate by hiding their abilities, or should they live more honestly, exposing their powers to the world?

Claire will be at the forefront of that issue, starting college in Washington, D.C., and trying to discover, as all college kids do, who she really is. But re-adjusting to normal life won’t be easy, especially when Claire is caught in the crossfire of her parent’s divorce and a mysterious suicide on campus.

Meanwhile, Peter and Nathan are trying to get their lives back on track. Peter is trying to be a hero in the purest sense — saving on life at a time. But that means cutting himself off from friends and family. It’s only when Peter makes a romantic connection with a fascinating new “powerful” woman that he’ll find out that life means staying connected to others. Nathan is discovering new things about himself everyday, mostly due to the fact that he’s actually Sylar.

Matt will have to live with the guilt of what he did to Sylar; making his attempts to live a normal life with his wife and child virtually impossible.

Noah Bennet (HRG), with the help of Tracy Strauss, Angela Petrelli and all of our Heroes, is tasked with forming a new COMPANY. But that new organization won’t be concerned with conspiracies and prisons anymore. It will be about people. Finding them. Connecting to them. And figuring out why so many of them have been seduced by another “organization” out there that treats people with abilities in a fascinating, dangerous and potentially deadly new way.

"Heroes' " Claire Bennet is off to college.

The undestructable high school cheerleader will soon be hitting the books on a college campus where she will cross paths with a quirky student played by Madeline Zima.

"Californication" co-star Zima has been tapped to recur on the NBC drama's upcoming fourth season.

In a multi-episode arc she will play Gretchen, an edgy outsider and college roommate to Claire (Hayden Panettiere) (Spoiler TV)

It really sucks too :( What happened to this show? Season One was so unbelievably awesome.

I think it just proves that dramas like this need to have an end game planned out like what Lost did. No, they didn't have everything answered, but at least they had a general idea of where they wanted to end the show. Heroes has lost their way; I just hope they find it back again, if they don't, I hope this next season is the last, but that's my personal opinion and if others want it to stay on, then kudos to you for sticking with the show. I, personally, gave up a long time ago, but still follow it when I'm bored (i.e. at work on the weekends :p ).

It does...5 seasons Kring said that when they were announced a 4th season.

"Prison Break" regular Robert Knepper has joined the cast of NBC's "Heroes" next season says The Hollywood Reporter.

Knepper will play the role of Samuel, a charismatic but evil man with a twisted sense of humor, who will place himself in the lives of all heroes.

The actor will appear in no less than six episodes of the series' fourth season. Shooting kicks off later this week for a continuous run starting this Fall.

Ever since his T-Bag persona, I haven't been able to look at him as other than white trash because he played the part so well. I saw an old episode of Star Trek: TNG with him in it and it was hard for me to shake the white trash character.

He's referring more to the story than the number of seasons. Lost pretty much always had an end game, while Heroes didn't even think beyond the first season until it became popular.

Yeah but I see it ending at 5 if Kring says it will it will.

Nice bit of casting there, he's as creepy as hell (Y)

Exclusive: 'Heroes' recruits Sue Thomas, Darth Maul

2yu0j69.jpg

The Force will be with Heroes next season.

British actor Ray Park, whose role as Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace made him an icon to fanboys far and wide, is in talks to join the cast for a sizeable arc. Additionally, Deanne Bray (Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye, The L Word) is nearing a deal to come on board for multiple episodes.

Who are they playing and how long will they be sticking around for? Keep reading for the scoop...

Little is known about Park's role, except that he would be playing one of the colorful characters at the center of the show's Carnivale-esque storyline. (My guess? He's the character described in the breakdowns as "Knife Thrower.")

Bray, meanwhile, would play a deaf love interest for one of the main Heroes. As I previously reported, the part specifically called for a hearing-impaired actress. (So much for my campaign to get Jericho's Shoshannah Stern the gig!)

In addition to Park and Bray, Heroes' fourth season will welcome Prison Break's Robert Knepper (as a new villain) and Californication's Madeline Zima (as Claire's quirky college roommate). (EW)

    • Apple raises MacBook and iPad prices as memory costs surge by Karthik Mudaliar Apple has raised the U.S. prices of several MacBook and iPad models, including the MacBook Neo, which it launched for $599 less than four months ago. The company’s cheapest laptop now starts at $699, while some MacBook Pro configurations have increased by $300. The changes affect the MacBook Neo, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iPad Air, and iPad Pro. Apple has not changed the hardware or storage included with these models, so customers are simply paying more for the same configurations. Here is how the new US pricing compares with the previous starting prices: Product Previous price New price Increase MacBook Neo $599 $699 $100 13-inch MacBook Air, 512GB $1,099 $1,299 $200 14-inch MacBook Pro, 1TB $1,699 $1,999 $300 16-inch MacBook Pro $2,699 $2,999 $300 11-inch iPad Air, 128GB $599 $749 $150 13-inch iPad Air, 128GB $799 $949 $150 11-inch iPad Pro, 256GB $999 $1,199 $200 13-inch iPad Pro, 256GB $1,299 $1,499 $200 The updated prices are already appearing on Apple’s U.S. online store. The MacBook Neo increase will probably attract the most attention. Apple introduced the laptop in March for $599, pitching it as a more affordable Mac for students and buyers considering Windows laptops or Chromebooks. It uses an A18 Pro processor and originally undercut Dell’s new $699 XPS 13 by $100. Following the increase, the two laptops now have the same starting price. The M5 MacBook Air has also lost the price Apple promoted when it launched in March. The 13-inch model arrived with 512GB of storage for $1,099, while Apple’s store now lists the MacBook Air range as starting at $1,299. The 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M5 chip and 1TB of storage has gone from $1,699 to $1,999. Apple has made similar changes to its iPads. The recently released M4 iPad Air, which launched at the same $599 starting price as its predecessor, now starts at $749 for the 11-inch version. The 13-inch version has risen from $799 to $949. The iPad Pro increases are larger in dollar terms. Apple’s 11-inch M5 iPad Pro now starts at $1,199, up from $999, while the 13-inch version has moved from $1,299 to $1,499. Both base models still include 256GB of storage. Apple blamed the increases on the rapidly rising cost of DRAM and NAND flash, which provide system memory and device storage. The company told Reuters that it had tried to shield customers from the increases but could no longer absorb them. “We have never seen a component price increase this much, this quickly,” Apple said. Tim Cook had already warned that price increases were coming. Cook said Apple’s existing component inventory had softened the immediate impact, but that higher memory costs would increasingly affect the company after the June quarter. Much of the pressure comes from the construction of AI data centers. Memory manufacturers are directing more production toward high-margin server products, leaving PC, tablet, and smartphone makers competing for the remaining supply. Apple has not said whether the new prices are temporary or whether further increases are planned. For now, the changes show that even Apple’s purchasing power has not been enough to keep the AI-driven memory shortage away from consumer devices.
    • Ventoy 1.1.16 is out.
    • This is a none story - these low volume Chinese models will always get new experimental features first because Apple and Samsung can't produce them in huge volume to meet demand.
    • Nvidia GeForce NOW gains support for Dark Scrolls, Empulse, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The final update of June for Nvidia's cloud gaming service GeForce NOW is now available, and it is touting support for six more games. The company is also drawing subscriber attention towards the summer sales kicking off across stores, so they can stock up on more cloud-supported titles. Of course, the Steam Summer Sale is the biggest promotion, which is kicking off later today. "Supported Steam games can be streamed across devices with GeForce NOW, making it easy to buy a game once, keep progress synced and pick up where the gameplay left off on PCs, Macs, handheld devices, phones, TVs and more," says the company. "In other words, the Steam Summer Sale brings the deals; GeForce NOW adds the flexibility." Don't forget that the GeForce NOW summer sale is still active as well. This limited-time offer drops the 12-month Performance membership from $99.99 to $64.99, saving members $35. At the same time, the 12-month Ultimate membership is currently going for $129.99, dropping the price by $70 from the original $199.99. Here are the games joining GeForce NOW's supported list this week: Dark Scrolls (New release on Steam, available June 22) SAND: Raiders of Sophie (New release on Steam, available June 22) Deer & Boy (New release on Steam, available June 23) EMPULSE (New release on Steam, available June 24) The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales (Steam) FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves (Steam) With the June expansions coming to an end, Nvidia should be announcing its July GeForce NOW plans next week. Keep in mind that, unlike subscription services like Game Pass or EA Play, a copy of a game must be owned by the GeForce NOW member (or at least have a license via PC Game Pass) to start playing via Nvidia's cloud servers. There is also a limit to how many hours subscribers can use the service per month.
