lols its ok im working with a dll i acquired thats going to fix this problem with sp1....

btw

this is the script the guy sent me..... (this is its raw form... not what ive modifed :p )

this is what makes the bar FUNCTIONAL

and ive aquired the coresponding dll to this script... but im still trying to modify it

if anyone can help me with this it'd be helpfull

lols well if i can fix it ill post a dll that you put on your computer that talks to explorer and lets all that work.... but i can only get it to work in one folder for some unknown reason

i also need help with soem accelerator strings....

lols yeah it'll work... im presently stuck in reg edit fixng the problem

EDIT:

ok fixed problems:

images finally work properly

update of info on file/folder is working

now contains reg files to combat the sp1 problem

Problems:

when you open the parent folder (fisrt folder it geos to) you cannot delete or copy items to the location (due to the accelerator strings above >_> ) but after that its fine :)

still havent found a way to make the parent folder "my computer" or "c:/"

project suffered a major failure.... i changed a registry setting and now i stuffed it.

im gonna have to fix it..... but im back at school so this is gonna slow down.

if i dont get it fixed by friday im going to post all i have and someone else can try to continue...

i just dont have time now

look back here on friday for the files if you wanna give it a go

AAHHHHHH IT IS THERE .... ok go into notepad ..... then click open, now once we've done that go to the little bar that seems to be blank (gee maybe we should write something there) then write dektop.ini and it will appear no matter what

i have sp1..............

i never posted any completed stuff.... ive now got to the stage where i can get the bg's to appear independant of the files.. like the normal longhorn bar... i just have to get the system information working again...filesize type ect... i will post the release soon

It's possible if you want to add pane in Control Panel like add new frame and elements and move but quite hard or impossible to do in Explorer cause Windows lock shellstyle place in there. If you want a chance to do it, try to mod cpwebview.css but I think it's useless. (Must I make guide about this one?)
