As for Fox granting them 2 seasons without airing 1, it's because of how good Family Guy does, they've brought their cartoon weekends out of the ******, Simpsons has been spiraling downwards for years, Family Guy saved them they will bend over for them.

Hasn't family guy been dropped about 4 times only to be saved by DVD sales?

Same, more mindless dribble from Seth McFarlane with different characters. Family Guy never won me over but occasionally there were a bit or two worth a laugh but 90% of it was wasted airtime.

I have -5% interest in this. Cleveland was ALWAYS my LEAST favorite character on Family Guy. He's dreadfully boring and they think he can carry a show? Just wow.

Family Guy fans do not have faith in Seth MacFarlane?

Being a Futurama fan, it took me a few years to "forgive" Family Guy and start enjoying it. And, yes, it actually has it's moments (like Quagmire being asked about the "Cross-country tour" banner on his RV: "Shouldn't 'country' have an 'o'?" Quagmire: "Nope!").

American Dad, though, is just awful. Seth may be marginally brilliant, but he's hardly infallible.

You know I agree about AD, I don't find it that funny, the first season was hilarious anything after that was poor but with that being said I don't watch FG much now but i'll give this a go.
