If you have tears coming out of your vagina....

16 million women love it, and if your male and watch it, then you must be on the waiting list for gender reassignment.

Yeeeah that must be true...

I guess I have to change my genre now. :hmmm:

Wow, a lot of Lost references (flash forward, intro scene, bird crash) and some big names, I say this better live up for expectations. I loved the pilot so it's gonna be a keeper and I hope they make the story as huge and rich as Lost.

Yeah check out the big one if you want to

Producers: FlashForward Has To Last Three Seasons At Least

Ratings for Thursday's premiere were strong, but even in a worst case scenario, producers for ABC's FlashForward say they'll need three seasons to properly tell the story they've started. Looks like we're in for a long haul.

Talking to the British SFX magazine, co-creator and producer David Goyer said,

We pitched [ABC] a fairly excessive plan... I mean, we know exactly the shot that season one ends on! They obviously said this resembles Lost, in that it's a really cool script, but [they asked], 'Do you have any idea where it goes?' We said, 'Yeah we know how the whole season ends and how the whole series ends', and they went, 'Holy ****!'

Marc Guggenheim, another producer for the series, went further:

We know what the ultimate season is and the penultimate season is. For in between, we know the various seasons but we are treating it like an accordion. In success, [the show] can go seven years. In less success, it would need to go three years to work. The end game of the show, to be properly done, really requires two full seasons focusing on the end game.

With the pilot winning its timeslot for ABC, it's possible that ABC are looking at a very extended accordion for the show. We'll see if ratings continue to hold up in future weeks.

'FlashForward' execs 'have ending planned' [Digital Spy]

@Peewee210,

- Well, Darlton have always said that everything was planned on Lost and that they knew exactly how it was gonna end. Thing is, mostly due to the strike, some adjustments were inevitable. I don't think one could say that Lost's storyline was stretched out.

Yeah that's true actually. They were never given an end date, so they didn't know how long to stretch out the storyline..

Seems like they have it all planned out! I like it :) No stretching out a storyline like Lost did.

Yeah so really it depends on ratings, which I bet will be down next week because some people will not want to commit

I'll have to see for the rest of the season, also a new version of V comes out on ABC in November, wow! 2 primetime scifi shows on ABC

in the same season........ Hmmm... Maybe because NBC and Heroes, I thought Heroes was go for first 2 seasons and then started to suck after

the 3rd.

Let's hope this doesn't happen with Flashforward.

The writer's strike killed Heroes.

I wish someone can give me a brief rundown on what Lost is about. I've tried to watch the show many times but it so boring and stupid that I feel like killing myself for trying. Flash Forward is nowhere the same as Lost. I don't understand many people's mentality. I thought Lost is a show about a bunch of people got trapped on some stupid island while trying to find a way home. And Flash Forward is science-fiction type of movie. What are the similarities that I miss? I loved Flash Forward. The show is awesome. Lost got me so lost. I don't get it. Someone wanna fill me in on something I don't know?

This was quite a good start to the season :) I liked it; I do however wonder how they are going to make this idea last longer than a season, I think this will just get boring after the first season.

@Krome,

- Lost is a sci-fi tv show (time jumps, the island is not stupid at all but actually intelligent, smoke monster, ...) well known for the huge effort put on very small details and for the dedication of it's fans (huge forums, theories, frame-by-frame watching, ...). Lost starts with the same scene as FF, only with an island instead of LA and a plane instead of cars. Lost also puts the viewer in the same situation as the "victims", so during the progression you are as clueless as them (that's maybe what's making it boring for you).

- Well there are other Lost specificities but I think those are the main ones that can be also applied to FF (oh, and FlashForwards are also a key element on Lost). I honestly think that if you liked FF there is no way you won't like Lost as the feeling is very similar, especially if you prefer character-driven stories to action-driven ones. But hey, tastes ... :p

    • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
