ABC delays 'FlashForward' return

ABC has announced that FlashForward will not return to US screens until Thursday, March 4.

The Joseph Fiennes-fronted drama series was expected to continue in January, but the network have pushed it back after the Winter Olympics so that it can air without repeats.

FlashForward's first episode brought in a decent 12.41m for ABC Thursday, September 24, but its latest instalment managed just 8.01m - a new low for the series.

V's return date has also been scheduled. The miniseries will continue on Tuesday, March 30 on ABC.

:(

This show is one of like 5 that I'm watching this year (at least until Lost comes back, and then it'll be 6). Of all the shows I watch it's my least favorite, but if I didn't think it was worth watching I wouldn't bother. This means that it's probably going to be canceled, because whenever I like a new show that's what happens.

"FLASHFORWARD" AND "V" TO RETURN WITH ALL-ORIGINAL EPISODES IN MARCH 2010

"FlashForward" Returns Thursday, March 4, and "V" on Tuesday, March 30

"FlashForward" and "V" will return to the ABC schedule in March 2010, allowing for both shows to air uninterrupted through the end of the season. After last night's episode, "FlashForward" will return on Thursday, March 4, 2010 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), and "V" on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), moving to its new timeslot following "Lost."

From 8:00-9:00 p.m. on Thursday, ABC freshman "FlashForward" is a dominant No. 1 in the hour with Adults 18-34 and also among hard-to-reach Men 18-34. "FlashForward" stands as TV's No. 1 new drama this season among Adults 18-34 (tied with ABC's "V"). Additionally, "FlashForward" is drastically improving its time period year to year for ABC, growing the hour by 1.7 million viewers (11.1 million vs. 9.4 million) and by 23% in Adults 18-49 over the same point last season.

"FlashForward" stars Joseph Fiennes as Mark Benford, John Cho as Demetri Noh, Jack Davenport as Lloyd Simcoe, Zachary Knighton as Bryce Varley, Peyton List as Nicole Kirby, Dominic Monaghan as Simon, Br?an F. O'Byrne as Aaron Stark, Courtney B. Vance as Stanford Wedeck, Sonya Walger as Olivia Benford and Christine Woods as Janis Hawk.

David S. Goyer, Brannon Braga and Jessika Borsiczky are executive producers. "FlashForward" is from ABC Studios.

Television's number one new drama this season in the key Adult 18-49 sales demographic, "V" delivered substantial year-to-year improvement in Tuesday's highly-competitive 8:00 p.m. hour, boosting ABC by 48% in the time period during its November Sweep run (4.3/11 vs. 2.9/7). Opposite established competition, including CBS' time-slot veteran "NCIS" and NBC's "Biggest Loser," "V" finished No. 1 in its hour among Adults 18-34 and key Men (M18-34/M18-49).

ABC delays FlashForward 2 more weeks

ABC is delaying the return of new episodes of its sci-fi series FlashForward by two weeks: It now returns March 18 in its Thursday 8 p.m. ET/PT timeslot rather than the original March 4.

The network gave no reason for the delay, other than to say it would allow the show to air weekly for the rest of the first season without repeats or pre-emptions (and, we presume, to take it out of the path of American Idol on Fox). Of course, according to a schedule posted by Robert J. Sawyer, author of the book on which the show is based, the show was already scheduled to run without pre-emptions before the change. Does this mean ABC is actually cutting two of the new episodes?

Also, the show has been building up to a big revelation on April 29, the day of the characters' flash-forwards; it's unclear whether this delay means the episode slated for that day will remain on that date or not. It's also unclear what this does to the season finale or when it will air. (The two-hour season finale was originally scheduled to air on May 27.)

As we reported earlier, the show has already seen its schedule cut, then shifted as its ratings fell. It was put on hiatus in early December, in part to allow the writers to regroup with the departure of original show runner Marc Guggenheim.

We'll have some answers for you soon!

    • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
