Your personal sites?

Question

Hey all,

I have a blog all that is great and i am really enjoying running it. I am wanting to design a personal site now that will hold my CV etc a little bit like this http://www.danielhoult.co.uk/.

What i am looking for is some ideas, could/would you mind posting some of your personal sites so i can see how other people have done theirs, i have some ideas but am looking for the general layout options.

I think you could be a little more modern than that site. No offense, it just looks like someone used a few too many shadows and bevels in photoshop.

anyway, free plug..... .. :) It's not my design, it's just a wordpress blog with my thoughts and stupid jokes on it.

Here's mine: http://jamus.co.nz

The website is primarily used for posting articles written by me. It also has my image gallery and "Lectures" section where I distribute additional learning material to my fellow classmates.

The web pages are 100% hand-coded using Notepad++.

mine: http://cshen.ca/

I did this theme a couple of months ago.

Nice, If you're intention was to display this in IE8:

The XML page cannot be displayed

Cannot view XML input using CSS style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

http://www.hiroprotagonist.co.uk

Mostly created, so that I would have somewhere to record online my exercise bike results / weight-loss info. It also houses my exercise challenge which I've had to stop due to a few cracked ribs :) Other than that, it's just got the obligatory twitter / wordpress feeds, an overly long "about me" section, and that's about it really :)

Here's mine...

http://projectdestiny.co.uk

I mainly use it as a portal for my many presences on the web/a dumping ground. Although if theres something I like i'll write about it. I also use it to store some of my photos (not very good atm) Its just a bog standard wordpress installation with a very nice theme I found in the wordpress repository thingy that i've slightly tweaked.

I will eventually update it more often, add new content and make it look nicer...when I get a bit of time that is lol :(

^ Nice.

My site is mainly for storage and messing around with things, I'm lazy and haven't gotten around to buying a real domain.

http://alex.thefrapp.com/

One thing I like, is that it serves XHTML 1.1 to WebKit, Opera and Gecko browsers, and HTML 4 to anything else, but in both cases the output still validates (I run the output through XSLT to clean it up and fix issues, and do string replacement for HTML output). It also shows off a rendering bug in Gecko 1.9 :p
