deuz Posted May 23, 2009 Share Posted May 23, 2009 i have a d link wireless router with the normal antenna, i bought this over the wkend and am using it now. over the short distance it seems to output the same speeds.... when i get say 5-10m away( on toolbar small ant shows low-good, this onee shows low-good-very good so it caries). I was wondering for any distance over this, does it help that much( it says 500m range!)....pretty much if it is worth purchasing and also if its gain of 7dbi is good. is there any program i can use to test output to test it properly, because if it doesnt give extended range i will return it.
