Choosing an LCD tv

Recommended Posts

I've been a bit late finally upgrading my ****ty TV but I finally am, i've also managed to keep myself almost entirely in dark with the current gens TV's, so a little help would be useful.

Will I be alright with getting 1366 x 768, I don't own a console I may plug my computer in occasionally to play games but I have a nice computer monitor so it doesn't really matter.

There's a Sony Bravia S Series on sale in my town for roughly 400 American bucks (800 NZ) is that a good price?

Cheers

honestly - if you pay $400 for a TV - youre only gonna get a $400 TV

the only caveat to this is if you

get it off the 'back of the truck'

have a friend who works there and are using his discount

or there is a small blemish and they are discounting the hell out of it

but I think any TV that is only $400 - is gonna suck

Why not get an LED TV ?

I don't think any of the Sony Bravia TVs suck. They're very good TVs.

I've only read good things about it in reviews, $400 is the discount price, there's only ten in the store it opens on Saturday i'm gonna have to line up in the morning.
