Kibler Posted July 15, 2001 Share Posted July 15, 2001 Windows XP RC1 doesnt seem to think my scsi 948S Sony is a burner. I have heard people having this problem with some HP's but nothing about the sonys. It worked fine in Win2k. Whats annoying is that if windows doesnt think its a cdr then no program will see it so it cant be used. I was thinking of trying to install Adaptecs ASPI drivers but I really dont feel like messing up my install! Anyone done it? Does it work? Will it help?
