Panacik
I synced my iPhone with my PC, but have since formated that machine. If i sync it tomorrow, in order to upgrade to 3.0 firmware, will it wipe or keep my contacts? I know it will wipe the songs and videos etc etc, but i have those on the PC, so can add them all again, so its just the contacts im worried about. Any ideas? Snowl
I mean, restore the backup. Sorry. That should sync it, but just incase, copy all the contacts down if possible.
SuperKid
You backup the phone i believe which backs up the contacts etc, upgrade which resets it then restore the backup?
Panacik
Thanks for the replies. I managed to backup the contacts through iTunes to the windows addressbook. So in the worse case scenario, i can manually add them back if they get wiped. Luckily there are not too many of them after i cleaned out the ones i dont need any more...
