Just looking on the site, it turns out he was on the bench. Didn't even see the boss eyed git warm up myself.

The point still stands though, Aquilani is a central player and Aurelio was brought on to replace Yossi on the left wing.

Aurelio is supposed to be a wing back, but Yossi still plays in midfield so the argument could still be made that it was a defensively minded switch.

3-0, easy football I might say. Once again Giggs and Scholes were superb. The title race has begun.

Looks like United have the only real chance of keeping the blue scum in check now, although their own form is fluctuating a bit at the moment. I hope they can mount a challenge otherwise this title run in could be over pretty early

YES WE WILL! LASERS CHARGED! PEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEWPEW  !

I think United should do okay, but this season really is more of a transition season without Ronaldo. The performance yesterday was brilliant in terms of approach play, but the final ball, and the finishing was pretty poor. Our home games have had the same pattern all season.

A wins a win though :p

Portsmouth part company with Hart

Portsmouth manager Paul Hart has left the Premier League's basement club with immediate effect.

The club said the decision to relieve him of his duties had been "made reluctantly based on results that leave the club at the bottom of the league".

Hart was offered an alternative role as technical director responsible for players aged 18-21, but declined it.

Coaches Paul Groves and Ian Woan will take charge of the first team until Hart's replacement is named.

Chief executive Peter Storrie said: "Paul has worked under very difficult circumstances with the financial restrictions the club has faced since he took over.

"However, the board feels that the team should have accrued more points to date and that we need a new man in charge to ensure Premier League survival.

"The board would like to thank Paul for his work not only in keeping the club in the Premier League last season but also for his time in charge of youth development.

"Paul is a man of great dignity and we hoped he would stay and help us develop younger players on the fringes of the first team.

"We are genuinely sad to see him leave. Everyone at the club wishes him well for the future."

Hart, 56, took charge following the sacking of Tony Adams in February 2009.

Before the confirmation of Gibbs' injury, Ars?ne Wenger had faced the media in his post-match press conference.

"Gibbs has a big hole in his leg," said the manager. "It was a very bad challenge by the No 22 and it was not his first try, unfortunately. It doesn't look good for Gibbs."

Wenger's worst fears were confirmed shortly afterwards following X-rays but the Frenchman was more positive about injuries suffered to William Gallas and Andrey Arshavin after the pair clashed in mid-air while challenging for a cross from Cesc Fabregas.

"Gallas has an ankle problem and a swollen eye," said Wenger. "I think he will recover for Sunday, we hope so. It wasn't concussion but he couldn't see anymore because his eye was swollen.

"Arshavin has some staples in his head. He will be available for Sunday."

Can be bad for us as Clichy is also out.. chance for someone else to shine..

    • NVIDIA officially supports Ubuntu, as linked above with the GeForce NOW Hands on I did in collaboration with Paul Hill.
    • TO be clear I am not running linux today, however I keep thinking about it. And I want to make sure there are minimal obstacles if I decide to make that switch in the coming months.
    • Yes, I actually glossed over the Linux part from the OP. You could always go for a 9070 XT and if you really want to play Ray Traced games in the future, GeForce Now is pretty damn good on Linux https://www.neowin.net/news/nvidias-native-geforce-now-app-for-linux-bridges-the-gaming-gap-hands-on/
    • One reason it might be running hotter is dust build up within the cooling or perhaps the paste has dried out. You could always try repasting your old GPU and cleaning the cooler. Your experience in Linux will be much better with an AMD GPU; the performance in gaming is much closer to Windows than nVidia would be. I personally think on Windows, AMD drivers are junk.
    • I reviewed it back in March, but I didn't have a 5070 at the time https://www.neowin.net/reviews/amd-rx-9070-review-vs-rtx-5070-4070-and-rx-9070-xt-7800-xt--just-good-enough/ When I reviewed the 9070 I did have a 5070 to compare it against, so the scores are there for the 9070 XT. it outperforms the 5070 in raster, and is barely neck and neck in Ray Tracing. So it's better than a 5070 in everything but Ray Tracing where it is neck and neck, or just under. To be honest, the uplift from 3080 when it was new to the 9070 XT is not as great a step up. If you can find a used 4080 Super for around the same money, you would probably be better off, but if you only want to buy new then the 16GB 9070 XT is the best value for money in its category.
