Just got back from the Wolves game and very happy with the score. I thought Liverpool were supposed to be a top 4 side? more like bottom 4 judging by their crap performance tonight. They won at Anfield courtesy of a red card and they couldn't even manage that tonight (Mainly cause we were kicking lumps out of them lol). Guess you can only beat us when we've got 10 men.

Highlight of the night was when Foley went sliding in hard on Reina shame he didn't do more damage. Hope this adds more misery to the fat Spanish waiter. :p

Bit short of fresh air tonight? Wishing injury on somoene just because they play for a team you don't like... wow, what a pleasant chap you are (Y)

Newsflash: Kicking lumps out of people isn't good, it is what bottom of the table sides with no class do to superior teams to stop them playing. Granted, we probably won't be in the top 4 this year, but when wolves get relegated I guess the last laugh will be on me.

I'm sure the Reading fans will agree with u on the last point as wasn't that what Liverpool did when they got frustrated in the cup? We may get relegated but at least our club isn't being run into the ground nah scrap that go Hicks.

I'd sooner have Man Utd, Chelsea hell even Spurs win the league than you.

Aww poor Liverpool fans now want Rafa sacked after tonight's performance, Fickle muppets.

Good for you? I really couldn't give 2 s***s about who you want to win the league, you are just making yourself sound more and more like a spoilt little baby that has had their toy taken away. Wishing injury upon football players just shows to me that you are just a sad, bitter, and childish individual, another supporter of a small, nothing team that has a hot jealous streak when it comes to Liverpool because their own club is so poor that they will never win anything.

you know why its so awesome being a west ham fan?, we always lose (occasionally I post good news!) and we don't really have a rivalry with any team on here so I live in peace but this thread is comic gold and makes for good reading (Y)

No, the reason people don't pick on you is that you are respectful and don't post stupid comments about other people's teams for the sake of it :p

TBH i just like winding people up and seeing who bites, half the time it's far too easy. :D :p

About the Wolves - Liverpool game: When did Gerrard return to training following his Hamstring? as last night he was very woeful. He disappeared at times and didn't look at all fit. You had quite a strong bench but you only made one sub all game (which was Ngog i think) even though you were running out of ideas especially in the second half when it was mainly all Wolves.

As for the injuring a player I said last night I apologise for that and agree it was a stupid comment to make even though i had a bit to drink last night and said in the heat of the moment it was still uncalled for and out of order.

yeah well as much as loathe Liverpool (2006 FA Cup final! :p) I don't want to mock them because most of the time we are really bad!

That was an awesome game, and even I will admit I think we where a touch lucky to win that one, but you guys gave us a great game, and it was an enjoyable match,

Fair enough, lol. Apology accepted, I also apologise for going after you.

My guess is that his return was risked somewhat early because Rafa felt he was needed in the team, but obviously that backfired. I guess it's lucky for us he didn't get further injured, but whatever happened, you shouldn't have a half fit player in the team. At the moment, everything that Rafa does just seems to go wrong, and whilst I am still not calling for his head yet things need to change.

We didn't win but I still stand beside Rafa and the club

I would love to see the FA to adopt German FA rules where foreign investors is banned. There are far too many Arab and American owners owning English clubs who are heavily in debt cause they've moved it from one company to another. Once the likes of the Glaziers, Hicks and the other one decide they get bored then decide not to bother with it any more it'll be the clubs who suffer :(

I am all for them coming in if they can PROVE that they have the right financial backing, IE they are backing the club with their own wealth, or their own company's wealth, but I would agree that people like Hicks that have taken out loans to fund their purchases of clubs should be told to do one, it's not financially stable. All of the profit that Liverpool generate is just going on paying back the interest on the loan.

lol Rafa on the after match interview completely side stepped the Juve question

Good on him, it's pure speculation at the moment and he shouldn't have to answer it.

No, it's because people have been watching too many football hooligan films - nearly all of which feature West Ham hooligans beating the living crap out of everyone. xD

Edit: Gudjonnson to Spurs. God damn it.

By Liverpool fans I presume you mean clueless idiots from Essex who phone up the radio for a good moan?

The majority of fans who actually fill the stadium are still backing Rafa and singing his name.

We can't win to be honest. If Rafa left Gerrard on the bench the media would moan about him by saying "if he is on the bench surely he is fit enough to play". If we leave him out of the squad totally when he is in full training (which he is), then Rafa will get moaned at... and if we start him (which we did) and Stevie plays poorly then Rafa will get moaned at.

It's all from the media. Rafa spends ?18 million on Aquilani (?4 million of which we have paid so far), and it is branded the worst signing of the millenium. What about Ferguson signing Tosic for ?16.75 million? Hargreaves for ?18 million?

Shadowed out because Man Utd have still played well with those signings, Hargreaves has been unfortunate, he's a good player just plagued with injury. Tosic is a flop.

Liverpool on the other hand needed a good signing to help them out right then and Benitez signs an injured player who's practically done nothing at all since joining the club.

I was actually reading a Liverpool forum when I made that comment and you are right as some of them are clueless idiots who like to have a moan (every team has them unfortunately). Rafa didn't really get any support on Tuesday as You were most likely the quietest away fans we've had all season, This isn't a dig just an observation. Apart from the 'You'll never walk alone' song sung before kick off you didn't make any noise at all.

The case of Gerrard is you are damned if you do and damned if you don't especially with the media. i don't think Aquilani (sp?) had much chance to silence his critics has he as Rafa never plays him.

Someone needs to re-teach Wolves how to score. That's four straight games without a goal. Fortunately we have Hull on Saturday.

Blooming heck there's another Wolves fan around :o lol We definitely need someone who can score although I've got faith in Doyle to start banging them in pretty soon. Ebanks-Blake needs to find his form again and quick otherwise i can see Mick's patience with him running out especially with competition from Big Chris and Sam Vokes waiting for their chance. i'll be glad when Keogh comes back as i feel we've missed him quite a bit.

    • I am not a US citizen nor a Trump fan. Respect to both left and right. But I will, for the sake of fun, predict something for my own. There will come a day when the US and China will collide like titans ( over Taiwan or anything else ). Then, on that day, some people in this comment section will realize how good an idea it was to become independent in areas like that. ( Or atleast try )
    • Microsoft Edge gets tons of security features, including AI model that can see your screen by Usama Jawad Microsoft Edge may not be the most popular browser out there, but it does receive quite frequent updates that sometimes bring surprising new features and axe others that are not as popular. Now, Microsoft has detailed some of the new security enhancements that it has introduced in Edge for Business, typically used by commercial customers. Microsoft has emphasized that security features are baked into Edge for Business and offer native integration with security and governance tools like Defender and Purview. Browser sessions are governed by default on managed devices but can also be governed through dedicated work profiles on unmanaged devices. An important aspect in this area is controlling the use of shadow AI. We have talked about this before, but it essentially restricts employees from using unsanctioned AI apps through data loss prevention (DLP) policies, with Edge redirecting them to trusted AI services like Microsoft 365 Copilot. This feature, available as a pay-as-you-go (PAYG) license, ensures that confidential data never exits AI boundaries set by your organization in Purview. Additionally, Microsoft also has strong DLP policies for contractors. Contractors leveraging a Entra ID-joined work profile provisioned by their contracting company on a device managed by their actual employer can be restricted from downloading files locally. In such scenarios, the file is saved on the contracting firm's OneDrive rather than being downloaded locally. Another useful Edge security feature disallows copying and pasting from unmanaged locations and apps. Similarly, DLP policies can be configured at a granular level to restrict screenshots or downloading of files from certain locations. In the same vein, IT admins can block the installation of extensions, hosted apps, themes and scripts, and control if users can install extensions from external locations. They can also enable the installation of specific extensions and allow users to request access to certain extensions, so that they can be managed on a case-by-case basis. Finally, Edge for Business now has an on-device AI model that uses computer vision to see what's on your screen and block potentially malicious content immediately. This does not rely on site reputation, as it simply monitors what is being displayed on your screen, which means that it is effective against malicious content that takes over your screen and employs scareware tactics. Since this is an on-device AI model, it does use your system's resources, so it's enabled by default only on devices with at least 2GB of RAM and four CPU cores. You can find more details in the Microsoft Mechanics video here.

    • Linux 7.2's first release candidate gets off to a good start by Paul Hill Credit: Larry Ewing It has been a few weeks since the release of Linux 7.1, and in that time, the Linux 7.2 merge window has been open, where developers can submit their features and patches ready for the upcoming release. That window is now shut, and the release candidate phase has begun so that new features can be tested and further fixes applied. According to the founder of Linux, Linus Torvalds, this week’s release candidate looks “reasonably normal”. Although we are super early in the release candidates, this is a good sign as it makes it more likely that an eighth release candidate will not be needed. Torvalds even mentioned that the update’s stats are only larger than they really are because there was another AMD header drop with a third of the patch just being AMD GPU register definitions, which aren’t big changes but make the code contributed look larger overall. In addition to this, he noted that just over half the patch is drivers, even when excluding the AMD register dump. The rest of the changes are spread out over architecture updates, tooling, documentation, and core kernel updates. In the next week, Torvalds says that he will be chilling out, taking the week “mostly off”. Despite this, he will be reading emails and keeping up with things, so if he is slow responding, now you know why. He said he is hoping for a calm week, but we will just have to see if the second release candidate is actually like that. We should expect seven or eight release candidates before Linux 7.2 is released, so expect it around the end of August. If you missed it a few weeks ago, be sure to check out our coverage of Linux 7.1's release.
