Does someone like The Simpsons? :p

Very nice setup, DL. (Y)

and Family Guy...

Chia Homer? lol

Being a known Simpsons lover means you get a lot of gifts from people Simpsons related, Chia Homer being one of them... Actually every thing Simpsons in this room was a gift. My favorite is probably the Lava Lamp that is cut off at the very top left. It is Carl, Lenny, and Homer around a Nuclear Reactor and Homer is sleeping. LOL

The scary thing is, my actual Simpsons toy collection is in storage. Not even kidding.

Thanks though. (Y)

Changed to a Lian-Li PC-7FWB today from the Antec P182

(going to get a lian li stealth bay for the dvd drive)

(Cloth to keep finger prints off = essential on brushed aluminium!)

Great case all round tbh.

Jesus Christ, how in the heck do you keep it so clean inside and out.. haha

Elbow grease!

You're going to o_0 when you see the new PSU installed now though below lol

I got an OCZ ModXtreme 600watt and also a Zalman Fanmate2 for the intake fan as on my mobo only one fan header (other than the CPU) can be voltage controlled from the OS and I wanted my 3rd fan slowed down to be less audible (I have super ears hah!).

Anyway, All fans are now running 700-900rpm and are uber silent, before I could hear the front fan's ambient hum but now not so. A baby could sleep with the PC on. Definitely.

And you had to quote the entire post just to say an oneliner?

@mrk, nice case. I've been looking at the V1000Z but it costs too much for what it's offering and yours is quite good alternative. I'm also looking at the Antec Mini P180 (anyone has one?) which seems to be quite spacious although the design is not on the same level as Lian-Li's.

Mini-P180_open.jpg

How come you swapped the P182 which is bigger and roomier?

That Mini P180 looks a better design than my old P182 - The drive bay layout has changed to offer more space, I wonder if the front casing itself has changed, I hate the new style Antec doors with the chav bodykit vents, why could they not keep it plain?

Great choice on the PSU. I have the 500W and love it. I only wish the 8 pin CPU cable was a bit longer.

Agree. It's probably the only thing keeping me from ordering it right away.

The P182 was slimmer but taller, it doesn't give any more room to work with than the Lian Li really and cables can be tidied behind just as easy - the bonus point is that it's lighter and better finished as well as the PSU being open so it's much easier to connect and wire new modular cables when needed and remove the PSU with minimum hassle when cleaning dust and stuff.

    • Report: iPhone Air isn't dead, and a second-generation model is planned for 2027 by Hamid Ganji Image via Apple Since the launch of the iPhone Air, we’ve heard conflicting rumors and speculation about the fate of Apple's ultra-thin iPhone. As it turns out, Apple is not going to ditch the Air model from its lineup, and a second generation is already planned for next year. As reported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, citing people familiar with the matter, the second-generation iPhone Air is planned for spring 2027 and is poised to receive notable upgrades. The upgraded model, codenamed V62, will reportedly feature an additional rear camera for ultrawide photography. The new camera system is said to be in advanced testing within Apple. Gurman also says the second-generation iPhone Air could offer better battery life, either through a larger battery or software improvements. The overall design of the device is expected to remain unchanged. A single rear camera and below-average battery life were among the biggest drawbacks of the first-generation iPhone Air despite its $999 price tag. Hopefully, the next iPhone Air will fare better. Gurman also added that the device will be powered by the A20 Pro processor. The release of the second-generation iPhone Air in spring 2027 aligns with previous reports that Apple is shaking up the iPhone release cycle. Accordingly, the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the company’s first foldable iPhone are expected to launch in September 2026, followed by the iPhone 18 and the new iPhone Air roughly six months later. The 20th-anniversary iPhone is also reportedly planned for fall 2027. Meanwhile, if you’re planning to buy the refreshed iPhone Air, Apple might surprise you with a new price tag. As we reported today, CEO Tim Cook confirmed that price increases are on the way due to rising memory chip costs and a severe shortage. With that in mind, analysts estimate that the base iPhone 18 Pro could cost as much as $1,399 this year. The current $999 iPhone Air may not be immune to those price hikes.
