imo, Dirt1 = farcry2 :p

all graphics & stuff. player only realism (bullet wound in fc2, damage in dirt1)

come to majority of gameplay -

fc2 - car tyres are bullet proof, only one gear :p, retard AI's, stupid car repair system.

dirt1- stupid brakes, handling, the four point suspension system (whatever term tat is) was wasted, handbrake which locks all four wheel :lmao:

may Sony cancel the WRC license, so Codies or some other GOOD devs can make a proper WRC game for PC.

there was some news about Peter Solberg Rally.

seems its for moblie phone only.

Everything except the trucks and rails/buggies. Just horrible in every way. sound sucked, graphics sucked, handling/realism sucked?, damage model blah ...one of the wost rally racers ever:xx . On the other hand the trucks and rails were well done. Im a Codemasters fan, I know they can do way better than this abomination and Im very confident they'll get #2 right.

Graphics sucked? Smoke another one and go watch some more dragon ball z buddy..

To be honest, DiRT handling wasn't bad when played in cockpit view.:pp

Few of them were hard to drive though.:pp

As for grid, my god its one of the hardest racing game.:oo

Even in cockpit view.:pp

Grid's handling is hardly different than Dirt...

^ unless it's the movie... then go nuts.

and i liked grid more then dirt, hopefully dirt 2 will be better then both. GRID is honestly one of the best racing games i have played in years. I loved drifting in that game, felt more "real" then say need for speed.

an old article, but nice info .

Building on the garage front end of GRID, the game's hub between races will take the form of an RV, the idea being that you're traveling the world in this thing ... and the backdrops will reflect where you are. We got a quick glimpse of it after witnessing some of the new technology the game's packing.
The dirt thrown up by the cars looks great and the new water tech is leaps and bounds beyond anything you've seen, bordering on photo realistic.

We were also struck by a mass of subtle touches, like when we watched a car drive through a deep puddle on a sandy surface from the in-cockpit view. The windscreen was first hit with water, then a mixture of water and sand, which mixed together and began to slide down as the wipers kicked in.

you can now unlock various dashboard trinkets, such as a swaying hula dancer, to customize your car. We even spotted an NXE Avatar -- presumably of the player -- swinging from the rear-view mirror.

cockpit view killed fps in Dirt1, i thinks, atleast on my laptop.:D hope these trinkets dont kill the fps.

check out the official website, cooler than dirt1 :D

Exclusive Ken Block Trailer

:fart:

notice some stunt like crap

shame on you codemasters

i just dont get it. till 5 cmr titles, codies chose a LEGEND as inspiration, but now two blokes who are like light years away from Colin McRae's race career/achievments.

focking money hungry tards

Brand Director Interview

after watchin this, my humble request to codies - please drop 'colin mcrae' name. please.

i really wish that some one like 10tacle/blimey should get the license for Officia WRC game from Sony.

another wish, Loeb should come up with a WRC game :D

Yeah I didn't like the newest trailer either, Colin was a family guy and rallying doesn't even have any characters that remotely protray that kind of life style or attitude. I really hope they don't screw it up, especially not after his death (N)

That was my first thought as well, I'd even go as far as saying this is a disgrace to the guy (N)

on ken block

What a joke, this guy is minutes slower than other WRC drivers and Codemasters chose him to be part of and promote the game...

how could Codemasters choose him ?

Cause he wears sunglases indoors.

:lmao:

for me, the last best Colin McRae title was CMR05

CMR '04 ftw

cmr04 was my first ever Rally game :D

loved it a lot, used to MP (split screen) a lot with my cousin . :D

cmr05 was like v2 of cmr04, with better gfx., tracks, pajero  . stratos...

i'd love to see 'split screen' MP make a come back in Dirt2.

edit

"driving school" mode is one thing CMR titles missed.

    • Really? Despite the memory price rises, nothing can kill it? I thought something would.
    • I think there will be a 27H1 for actual users of 26H1 The 25h2 supports ARM too : Snapdragon X, Snapdragon X Plus and Snapdragon X Elite
    • Poll: Grand Theft Auto VI price predictions, cast your vote by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe After years of waiting, Rockstar will be solidifying the launch date of Grand Theft Auto VI with the launch of pre-orders next week. While the studio has confirmed a date for this occasion, it is yet to attach a price to the highly anticipated game. So let's see what our readers think it will cost at launch. The Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders will kick off on June 25 for digital and physical editions. Unless some last-minute changes happen, the release date will be November 19, 2026, across Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, there's still no information about a PC version from the developer or the publisher Take-Two. Now the question becomes, how much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost at launch? The game is predicted by some analysts to be the biggest launch of an entertainment product ever. With the amount of hype that has been built behind it and with ballooning development costs, Take-Two may price this Grand Theft Auto entry differently from other AAA titles. The current price of a AAA game is $69.99. That norm almost rose to $79.99 before calming down. But with such a massive release, Grand Theft Auto VI may be the game that pushes the boundary again. It's also possible that Take-Two keeps the price relatively low to increase the number of players that jump in early and keep them hooked on Grand Theft Auto Online to spend on microtransactions for years to come. Keep in mind that the below poll is asking for a prediction of the standard edition price, not a deluxe or any other special edition that Take-Two will introduce for additional benefits. Also, there is the chance of the company splitting up the campaign and online portions. If you think that will happen, put your vote on what you think will be the total cost of the two. Poll Poll: How much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost? $59.99 $69.99 $79.99 $89.99 $100 or more Submit Vote If you have a very specific prediction in mind, sound off in the comments below.
