They offer it in 64-bit (I'm in fact *using* the 64-bit version). You may mean the C2R version (which is indeed 32-bit only). That is, in fact, my big quibble with C2R.

The *traditional* installable version is in both 32-bit *and* 64-bit (however, they are separate files).

I am running the Professional SKU on 7 64-bit RTM without a hitch (and have been for nearly a month).

The Technical Preview is most certainly available in x64 (I'm running the x64 version on my 7 x64 RTM partition right now); however, the C2R version is not x64.
