Yes we have plans on replacing most of the kempleton icons, for the new tab button try this code:

   .tabs-newtab-button {
   margin-top:  5px  !important;
   -moz-border-radius-topleft: 3px !important;
   -moz-border-radius-topright: 3px !important;
   background: url(chrome://global/skin/tabinactive2.png) !important;
   border-top: 1px solid !important;
   -moz-border-top-colors: rgba(255, 255, 255, .50) !important;
   }

   .tabs-newtab-button:hover {
   background: url(chrome://global/skin/tabhover2.png) !important;
   }

To move the tabs closer together try this:

 .tabbrowser-tabs tab {
		  margin-right: 2px !important;
	  }

Edit: changed new tab button code.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.

I don't know which one I like more, all glassed or glassered. I like them both!!!

All Glass:

Glasser update:

Less visual bugs in Glasser version thoguh so I may stick with that until everything else gets fixed with AllGlass.

4. some text is missing in the find bar.

1. I can't reproduce this, perhaps its an addon you are using that's causing it?

2. See code below

3. I created another build with the new tab button here https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?show...amp;p=591321246

4. Not sure about this, but will look into.

Add the following code to stylish.

.tab-text {
 color: black !important;
 text-shadow: white 1px 1px 1px !important; }

 #sidebar-title {
 background: url(chrome://global/skin/tabactive2.png) !important;

By using the Kempleton theme and their icons, you guys fixed my 'Find' bar after an extension I use messes it up with the default theme! Thanks :D :wub:

I have one major problem though :/ For some reason, the All-Glass extension doesn't work for me anymore :s I used to use it, but haven't used it for a month or two and then I came to re-install it and it gives me a horrible warning dialog box which constantly appears until I stop the Firefox process. Has anyone else had anything similar? I have to use Firefox in safe mode so I can uninstall All-Glass before I can use it again (I didn't have time to get a screenshot as I know it's not a problem with this theme). I get this problem whether I install All-Glass from the link you guys provided or from Ambroos' link.

Any help would be very much appreciated and I can get a screenshot if you guys need it :)

Glasser works for me, but that doesn't make the tabs as nice :p

Yes we have plans on replacing most of the kempleton icons [...]

Do you also plan on getting rid of that awful grey thing at the top of the 'Options' and 'Add-ons' windows?

As it seems difficult, if not impossible, to draw into the border, perhaps the Tools button could take on the same shape as the one in the actual mockup and fade out at the edge? There's only a 1-2 pixel border visible between the edge of the Tools button and the edge of the screen on a maximised window so it should certainly look alright.

I thought this when I was told it may be impossible to draw into the border :yes: That's the way I'd get around it and I think it would look pretty nice, to be honest. Have you guys considered trying it? :)

You had to highlight that folder didn't you?

I lost.

Haha, if it had an 's' on the end or something, I wouldn't have noticed it, but... :(

...

Yes we will replace the graphic in the options menu. For your All glass problem, uninstall glasser, restart Firefox then install All glass. As far as drawing in the border, yes I've tried. If we move the button too far to the right it gets cut off, where I have it now is as far as I can take it.

Thank you :happy:

That solution worked for me. I can't believe I didn't think of that :rolleyes: haha.

As for the 'Tools' button, I do understand that, but I think what Callum M-R meant and what I think is a good idea is leaving the button at the position it is now, but just editing the image, so it looks like the one in the mockup and making that right side fade. That way, it would look like it is attached to the glass - as in the mockup - or would at least look even more like the mockup :)

I've been looking at the mock-up and this theme and I actually think all of the icons may benefit from a bit of added opacity. Maybe setting the opacity of the whole image (of each icon) to something like 90% or 80%? I could be wrong, but I think that would help it look even more like the mock-up and the buttons would definitely fade into the glass more, as they appear in the mockup :)

...

This is our first theme so we don't quite know how to get everything working. I will talk to BoneyardBrew and we can try getting the Tools menu closer to the one seen in the mock-up. I think BoneyardBrew made some transparent buttons but they didn't come out too well, but we can always give it another try. Thanks for the feedback :)

No problem :) and thank you for taking all of our suggestions on board - it's fantastic how quick you guys are replying to us, how quickly you're updating this theme and the fact you've looked into whether each suggestion works or not :happy:

If adding opacity to the buttons doesn't turn out too well, the whole theme still looks very nice, so it isn't much of an issue, if an issue at all :)

I'm using the version with the New tab button. The buttons for scrolling through the tabs seem out of place.

Also how to get rid of the tab spacing ?

Just noticed another thing while clicking on the attachment.. No aero around the address bar.

The bookmark Sidebar

Can the edges of the address & search bar be rounded off a little?

Those buttons are out of place and will hopefully be updated. In the meantime, this may help :) -

I'm using this Stylish script and there's code in it which makes those buttons part of the glass, when they have to be shown :) It's pretty neat. I haven't looked at which part does this, but none of the rest of the code affects this theme because the code in the theme itself over-rides it, so basically, all this code will do for you, with this theme, is make those buttons glass as in my attached screenshot :)

.tabbrowser-arrowscrollbox > .scrollbutton-down
{

}

It is now complete! I love it like this, best of both worlds (as in my last reply)

firefoxcomplete.jpg

I made the bookmarks bar thinner as I felt it was too fat before vertically by using the following in Stylish:

@namespace url(http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul);

#main-window #navigator-toolbox #PersonalToolbar
{
	padding: 0px 0px 1px 0px !important;
	color: white !important;
}

...

To move the tabs closer together try this:

	   .tabbrowser-tabs tab {
	   margin-right: 1px !important; }

For Sidebar text issue use this

	   .tab-text, #sidebar-title {
	   color: black !important;
	   text-shadow: white 1px 1px 1px !important;}

can anyone help? this is really annoying me cos i feel stupid for not being able to do this but why does mine look like this:

Are you using our theme? Those butttons are included in our theme and you seem to have personal menu installed. If they are both correctly set up then the personal menu icons will change. If you are using a nightly build of Firefox please let us know.

    • 2 was a fun game but felt a bit shallow, like not enough there. I hope this expansion fixes that.
    • I haven't paid for windows since windows 8. So I guess I would be happy to pay for a new version if it meant seeing fewer adverts (none) or product pushes. But that applies to _any_ service or OS.
    • Save 35% on Sony's SS-CS5M2 3-way high-res bookshelf speakers by Taras Buria Sony is currently offering a big discount on its SS-CS5M2 bookshelf speaker, saving you 35% on a set of high-quality audio equipment. The SS-CS5M2 is a passive 3-way bookshelf speaker with a 5.12-inch woofer, a 25 mm soft-dome tweeter, and a 19 mm super tweeter. This design allows different drivers to handle different parts of the sound spectrum for a clearer, more detailed audio when watching movies or listening to music. The compact cabinet size allows you to place these speakers on shelves, desks, or stands, making them a practical choice for apartments, bedrooms, and small living rooms. Despite its compact size, the SS-CS5M2 delivers up to 100 W of power. Note that since the speakers are passive, you will need an amplifier to drive them. However, if you do, you can use them for high-resolution music, thanks to a claimed frequency response of 53 Hz - 50 kHz. It is able to extend so far high in the spectrum as a result of those super tweeters. While they will work with most amplifiers and AV receivers, Sony says this pair is a perfect match for its AV receivers, such as STRDH190, 590, 790, or 1000. • So they somehow expect Apple to easily make it so that if I install say DeepSeek that DS can then handle all the tasks that Siri would be doing while integrated in the OS? That sounds like just rediculous.
