Like the theme, but there is way toooooooo much glass. Main reason why I've always hated Glass...there's no originality anymore.

I know what you mean, but that's the direction everything seems to be taking these days. We are just trying to stay true to the mockup, so we've gotta do what we've gotta do :D.

After this theme will probably come something much more original from us.

It's chill. I wasn't really taking about your theme, Except there is a lot of glass.. Like preferences really doesnt need to have Glass and such.

No problem, I still agree though that it seems that everything is taking that course lately.

I figured putting glass in Options was a good idea because some people didn't seem to like that header background no matter what we did with it :p.

I have a suggestion, when you guys are done, release it, then release the tabs on top version later, just in case the guy doing the tabs on top takes a while, we don't all have to suffer in the meantime :p

We'll try to get in touch with him, and if we can't in a timely manner we will release this version as is. Don't worry :D.

Cool. I'm not interested in the tabs-on-top version but I quite like this theme glass-less so I'll be looking out for the new release.

Same here i prefer the tabs on the bottom as i can never get used to them on top. Looking forward to the release.

No offense to the author(s), but that "new" theme they came up with looks like a bad Chrome clone. Is that the best they can do?

I think its actually an enhanced version of the Google Chrome browser, bringing the best of the interface into one.

I agree yes, it does look like they've taken a lot of Google Chrome and put it into firefox, but most of the browsers these days seem to be going for this sort of design, so it's not really surprising.

They will also be in the add-ons and site information windows.

Watch in HQ and fullscreen to get the best impression.

We have created two versions of the new RSS icon, so please tell us: Which one do you like better?

The greyish version which matches the other buttons of the theme or the redish one which makes it a bit more noticable?

Looking nice, but I hope all this extra flash isn't going to add too much damage to Firefox's already notoriously bad memory management (memory leaks, colossal memory usage, etc).

      You can disable all non needed features from Brave. There is also Brave Origin which removes them entirely and it is free for Linux.

      I wish I could use Brave but the tab suspension feature is horrible. It doesn't suspend them like Edge does. Even after 2h open with 70+ tabs (same as Edge), it has 2GB more consumption than Edge for no reason.

      I will never use a crypto browser from a shady company because it has a built in adblocker. I am not that desperate and I do care about the ethics of the browser I use. So a Firefox based browser or Adguard is the way to go. I mean the app, not the MV3 extension combined with Adguard assistant extension for controlling everything directly in my browser. I prefer using a firefox based browser or paying 10 bucks for a lifetime license of Adguard than ending up using shady crypto browsers for an adblocker.
