There are another theme based on Firefox Mockup 4.0. Look:

http://dert07.deviantart.com/art/Firefox-4...Theme-131376655(No download - just a picture).

I saw that. We looked into it and it appears as though he is using our buttons without permission. We are investigating further to see what he has to say.

Thanks BoneyardBrew, this theme is gorgeous :D

The only thing, when Tab Mix Plus is activated, tabs' throbber disappears:

shot.jpg

When loading is complete, the favicon returns.

Don't know if it's a theme bug or a TMP's one...

You're welcome :D.

That might be a problem caused by All-Glass and TMP running simultaneously. We (SoapyHamHocks and myself) are working with Ambroos, the creator of All-Glass, to get all the bugs caused by All-Glass worked out. I will let him know about this one, and hopefully it can be fixed :).

I have a question regarding Download Statusbar and this amazing theme. The transparent mod addon makes download statusbar almost illegible. Is there any way I can get around this?

The background in of this part must be dark if you want to be able to read it.

You're welcome :D.

I'm not running tabmix plus and I see that behavior on some sites as well, so it's more than likely a problem restricted to Allglass.

Thanks but no matter how I install this the green line goes through the middle of the text, not below :/

edit: Got it now, you edit the stylish file to point to the image file, not Fissions options :pinch:

The latest version will include some new reload/stop icons that appear all the way to the right of the url bar.

Here is an updated screenshot :D.

buttonteaser.jpg

I have pretty much completely redone the original ones I posted in the earlier screenshot, I didn't really think they fit the "style" created in the mockup.

Here are some more screenshots :).

These are some modified RSS icons and a new bookmarks star.

I'm not 100% satisfied with the bookmark buttons quite yet. I will definitely be doing some more tweaking before the next release.

keep up the great work ByB. I am so excited to get a 4.0 Redux :)

Thanks :D.

Here are some revised icons from my previous post.

I changed the colors of the Bookmark Button states so they are easily recognized:

Same applies for the Go Button:

This is just an updated RSS screenshot to reflect the Bookmark Button changes:

Hello BoneyardBrew,

i have read your earlier Post's but I can't wait for the update, it's was a Quick & Dirty Trick and it was for my Curiosity, actually it was only intended for me, but I wanted the others did not make.

With a few adjustments that also works with other themes

I waiting for the new Mockup 4.0, thank you in advance for the work.

Since Firefox 3.6 Alpha 1 is coming out on Monday is there support for the 3.6 series?

I think they should concentrate on finishing the theme for Firefox 3.5.1. They have a lot of work with that.

If they would make the theme compatible with every new beta, they will not have time to finish it just for 3.5.1.

I think thats too much work. If they will do that, they need to fix bugs for two or more firefox versions....

That would slow down the development and everybody hast to wait many weeks for a new release.

    • Still 3x what it should cost. So, it seems the trick is to increase price by 6x so that a reduction in price back to 4x looks like a steal. "You savvy shoppers win again!" I'm glad I'm not in a desperate spot to actually even need this overpriced crap. Hopefully, it comes back down by the time for when (or if) I ever do.

    • Microsoft wants to end printer driver headaches with Windows Ready Print by Usama Jawad A few days ago, Microsoft released Windows 11 Experimental build 26300.8553, bringing a ton of enhancements such as Start menu customization, search improvements, Taskbar polish, and other minor UI tweaks. Another relatively major enhancement snuck deep within the change log was related to upgrades to the Windows printing experience. Now, Microsoft has shared more details about these benefits. For starters, Microsoft has renamed its Modern Print Platform to Windows Ready Print. The company believes that this name highlights its shift in strategy, which now focuses on modernizing, securing, and streamlining the printing experience for Windows devices. Some of the upgrades present in Windows Ready Print have already been seeded to customers and partners. This includes ending support for third-party printer drivers via Windows Update and transitioning towards the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) and the native Windows IPP printer driver. In line with these changes, new printer installations will default to Windows Ready Print on eligible devices starting from July 2026. However, Microsoft recognizes that not all environments will be able to migrate to this platform immediately, so it will allow users to choose between installing the printer via Windows Ready Print or the traditional OEM process. Users will be able to toggle this configuration through Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners > Printer preferences. This control applies only to new printer installations, and its functionality can also be modified via Group Policy as follows: Launch Group Policy Editor Navigate to Local Computer Policy -> Administrative Templates -> Printers Find and select 'Configure Windows Ready Print driver ranking' -> double click to open it Select 'Enabled' (if you wish to enable Windows Ready Print driver selection) or 'Disabled' (if you wish to explicitly disable Windows Ready Print driver selection). Select Apply Select OK Similarly, if you set up Windows protected print mode through the same setting in Windows 11, it will also default to using Windows Ready Print exclusively. Microsoft hopes that these improvements will help eradicate dependency on OEM-specific driver installation processes and simplify printer installations. We'll likely find out more about other tangible benefits in the coming months.
