Could someone please post detailed instructions on how to make Firefox 3.5.3 look like newest 3.7 mockup? What extensions and userstyles for Stylish I need to use to make it look exactly like on the image below? Especially how to get that "milky" glass effect on the Bookmarks Toolbar.

Use StrataBuddy https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/14762/ and read the posts from here on https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?show...amp;p=591671222

Most important, after installing the addon customize the toolbars and add the new Tools button, otherwise it won't work.

I wrote to read the posts from the link I noted AND to add the Tools button from Customize toolbar... if you do both it will work 100%. Of course it won't work if you don't add the Tools button, it's all written in the explanation posts.

Using the new StrataBuddy, I have this overlay problem.

Can someone please help me with this one? Many thanks.

Also, how can I move Google Toolbar above Bookmark Toolbar? Thanks again.

Looking at your buttons it appears you're not using Strata40. StrataBuddy is meant to go with that theme. Hopefully that'll fix your overlay problem.

Not sure about Google Toolbar since I don't use it.

That is correct, I am not using Strata40 theme. This is because the issues that I am having with it and it's easier to stick with the Redux theme than iron out those niggles. I will try to remove StrataBuddy and see whether that will solve this overlay problem.

weird, No matter what I try the tabs will not go on tom... using latest version and also the Strata40 theme, set tabs on top in stratabuddy options restarted and they are still underneath :(

uninstalled all other addons too except Addblock plus.

Firefox 3.5.3

Edit seems I had the tools and page buttons around the wrong way LOL working now.

This looks pretty cool without glass on vista too.

After a long period of hard work, we've brought to you StrataBuddy!

This addon includes three custom toolbar buttons, Tools, Page, and Bookmarks. It also allows you to customize Strata40 to make it resemble the 3.7 Mockups.

To access the customization options, go to the addons window and go to the addon's options. From there, you can choose what optional components you would like to use.

Features:

Accurate Firefox 3.7 Graphics, most of them Remade

Customization Features, including Alternative Back/Forward Buttons

New 3.7 Styled Reload/Stop Buttons

Animated Effects for Many Buttons

Page, Tools, and Bookmark Buttons

Aero Glass Effects

Tab Progress Line

Tabs on Top

Tab/Bookmark Background

and many more...

Note: This theme has graphics resembling SpewBoy's images, but most of SpewBoy's images have been recreated completely from scratch including Back/Forward (except for the arrows, which were borrowed from SpewBoy's Back/Forward), URLBar, IDBox, SearchBar, and Stop and Reload, which were created in his style toolbar buttons.

I finally got it working! :jump: I think you should have your own thread so we can fallow your great extension and post bugs, suggestions, etc.

Keep up the good work!

According to the mockups it seems that is the way it is... on top of the tabs when they're inactive and under the urlbar for the active tab.

    • Wow, imagine you dump hundreds of hours into completing things and unlocking stuff and you lose it all. Back in the day when cheats were built into games, you could at least unlock things again that way without spending hundreds of hours again. But those days are long gone for some reason as no one builds cheats into games anymore. So it's even more painful that studio that's on its 6th installment **** it up so badly.
    • Spotify finally removes the disco ball app icon in the latest update by Ivan Jenic Image: Spotify Spotify has just released an update that removes its now infamous disco ball icon. The update reverts the app icon to the familiar flat green logo after weeks of mixed reactions online. The icon arrived on May 13 as part of the company's 20th anniversary celebration and was always intended to be temporary, though Spotify only confirmed that after the backlash started. The disco ball took the internet by storm, as the reception was split. A vocal group of users called it ugly and disorienting, with some iOS users noting that the 3D glowing effect made the app look like it was stuck mid-update. On the other end, the icon picked up a following of its own. Its retro, three-dimensional look immediately stood out against the flat, minimalist aesthetic that has dominated app design for years. It even started a small movement, spawning what people started calling "discomorphism," a mashup of disco and skeuomorphism. Other brands started posting disco ball versions of their own logos, probably in an effort to ride the wave of memes that flooded the internet during late May. Spotify has had a turbulent relationship with its user base lately. Besides the disco ball icon, which certainly wasn't appreciated by everyone, the company has also received backlash for its willingness to include AI-generated music on its platform. On May 17, Spotify promised the old icon would return “in a few weeks.” And now it looks like that time has finally arrived. So, whether you liked the disco ball or it made you uncomfortable, it’s now gone for good. The next time you update the Spotify app on your phone, the old, flat-design icon will return.
