Curious as to why some other characters are not there, like Charles, Penny, Walt, Eloise, Christian and Aaron... maybe because they're not part of the main cast (Walt was at one point).

Yeah no Nikki and Paulo either

So I'm currently watching LOST from the beginning and I just had a hypothesis on something.

What if Locke died in season 1 when he first encountered Esau/Smoke Monster while hunting the boar? I know it is a long stretch, but Jack sees his father, runs over there and sure enough there is John. It wouldn't surprise me if this is what they were talking about when the producers said "you will realize we had this planned from the very beginning."

I know it's a stretch...but it would be sick as hell if this turned out to be true.

Via Eric Goldman from IGN.com:

I spoke to Joe Maddalena, President of Profiles in History, the company handling the [LOST] auction, who gave me some details on what to expect.

First off, Maddalena had an important revelation we haven’t heard anywhere else yet – the date of Lost’s series finale. According to Maddalena, Lost is currently scheduled to end on Wednesday, May 19th, 2010. ABC has yet to announce the show’s return date or timeslot for next year, but it seems the show will remain on Wednesdays where it has aired every year except for Season 4. The auction will begin in mid to late June in Los Angeles with a simulcast in Honolulu.

If this information gets confirmed by ABC and the network keeps up with its promise to run the final season with no interruptions from week to week, the Season 6 Premiere will air on February 3rd.

Two-Hour Season Premiere + 14 episodes + Two-Hour Series Finale = 18 hours/16 episodes.

Got a friend who was lucky enough to play an extra for some recent Lost filming. My friend for obvious reasons couldn't say anything direct, but I can pass some onto you and your site. My mate was on an inflight airplane set!. Buddy has never seen the show before, so tried to get as much as I could based on descriptions (and my guesses).

The plane resembles flight 815 and get this mate, on it were Jack, Kate (in cuffs) and with some guy (the marshall? unconfirmed), Sayid, flight attendant lady (Cindy? I think he means), and CHARLIE!!!! Could have been more but that's all my friend could describe. Everyone was in precrash clothing!. Can't say what happened except it looks like Charlie has accident (overdoses?) in the loo. Reset? Alt-Timeline who knows LOL!

Oh c'mon, does it really have to be about that character? There's nothing else we need to know about that annoying person! That character's episode last season was my least favorite of the season and the only one I didn't like.... C'mon, we know enough already!

Major Spoilers!

- Flight 815 is reconstruced

- Jack & Cindy (The stewardess) are talking about drinks.

- Rose is there too, waiting for Bernard.

- Turbulences occur, but this time nothing happens and Flight 815 continues flying.

- Bernard appears and jokes about how he needs a change of clothes.

- Charlie seems sick and Cindy (the stewardess) rushes to him. He call's out for a doctor.

- The Plane lands.

- Charlie is led out of the plane first.

- Hurley get's out of the plane and is recognised by Dr.Arzt as that "Chicken Shack"-Guy. He asks him to "say his line".

- Sawyer watches the conversation between Arzt and Hurley

- Boone and Locke exchange some words.

- Boone is upset for not getting seats in First Class.

- Locke is put in his wheelchair

- Jack freaks out at the information because his father's funeral "is in 2 hours".

- Something happened to Christian's coffin.

- Jin & Sun are talking and Jin act's 'like a jerk' again.

- Jin only speaks korean.

- Kate is handcuffed and walks with the Marshall.

- Kate arranges to go to the bathroom. She manages to escape.

- While running Kate meets Hurley outside and say's "Hey."

- Kate get's into a cab, point's a gun to the drivers'S head.

- Claire is sitting in the same cab.

- A different shot shows Kate driving the cab and Claire entering it.

- The Marshall run's after the cab.

- The big house where Hurley used to live appears. Claire and Kate get out of a cab and knock.

- A unknown woman opens the door and starts screaming. She say's she can't adopt Claire's Baby becauso of her husband. It's the woman which Richard Malkin recommended back then in Season 1.

- After a few words Claire starts screaming and yelling.

- Claire get's into labour.

- Kate say's "Call a doctor"

    • Nvidia GeForce NOW gains support for seven more games as discounts continue by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe There's a brand-new update rolling out to Nvidia's GeForce NOW streaming service, and like every week, that means more games have received support on the platform. This week's drop has additions like Aphelion and Pro Cycling Manager 26 attached to it. Don't forget that the GeForce NOW summer sale is still active too. This limited-time offer drops the 12-month Performance membership from $99.99 to $64.99, saving members $35. At the same time, the 12-month Ultimate membership is currently going for $129.99, dropping the price by $70 from the original $199.99. Moreover, Nvidia reiterated that support for GOG single sign-in and game library is incoming this summer, joining stores like Steam, Ubisoft Connect, Battle.net, and Xbox. "Connect supported game store accounts and stream titles with GeForce RTX power. Games that include cloud-save functionality help keep progress intact across devices," added the company. "Start a game on one screen, pick up where playtime left off on another, and spend less time managing installs and storage space." Here are the games joining GeForce NOW's supported list this week: Embers of the Uncrowned Demo (New release on Steam, available 13) Pro Cycling Manager 26 (New release on Steam, available June 15) Aphelion (Steam) Citizen Sleeper (Epic Game Store, Free from June 18-25) Megastore Simulator (Steam) OPERATOR (Steam) Super Meat Boy 3D (Xbox, available on Game Pass) Keep in mind that, unlike subscription services like Game Pass or EA Play, a copy of a game must be owned by the GeForce NOW member (or at least have a license via PC Game Pass) to start playing via Nvidia's cloud servers. There is also a limit to how many hours subscribers can use the service per month, with extra time being purchasable in chunks.
    • 47% profit margin? Wtf!! I know companies are in business to make money but come on man. I know for a fact I'll never own one of these.
    • Most AI-powered mainframe migration vendors expected to fail by 2030, Gartner warns by Paul Hill Credit: Pexels You may have read that many companies still run code written in ancient programming languages like COBOL and pay a handsome sum for those who can maintain that code. Well, it looks like this area of the tech world could be the scene of an AI bubble. It turns out that there are mainframe exit vendors, helping companies move their legacy mainframe systems to modern cloud environments or servers such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, using generative AI tooling. Unfortunately, 75% of these vendors are now expected to pivot or cease operations as market realities take hold by 2030. Alessandro Galimberti from Gartner said: Some of the companies in the mainframe exit market are IBM, 21CS, BMC, Broadcom, Rocket Software, DXC, GTSG, and Kyndryl. The reasons some of these firms are expected to quit the market are a reset of market expectations and a decline in demand for one-size-fits-all migration solutions. The reset in expectations is likely to be driven by cost overruns and threats to business, and the potential occurrence of critical failures within businesses as a result of bad transition implementations. These insights from Gartner are pretty interesting because it’s a specific area of the market where doubt is being cast on generative AI. Many people have cast doubt on whether AI companies will successfully justify the massive amounts spent on GenAI to date, and this data from Gartner suggests the road could be rocky for GenAI.
    • Heaven forbid they lose pennies from their Trillions! Like always, the consumer pays the most. Why is Tim Cooks even talking.....shouldn't he be packing up his office??
