Firefox Cookie Problems

hi everyone,

it has just recently occurred to me that my firefox 3.5 would not save its cookies or save the changes made in the preferences.

for example, everytime i restart my firefox, all my logins for the forums are lost, it used to login automatically for me, but now i have to login manually everytime. also if i want to change some setting in firefox, it would not save if i close the firefox.

im running kaspersky internet security,

anyone help please thanks!

As a guess I would say that kaspersky is preventing changes to your browser settings.

I would also take a look at Firefox sqlite cookies file.

Sometimes that database file can get corrupted. Simply delete it and firefox will create a new cookies DB file.. but you will need to refill all your information in.

I cant remember off the top of my head where this file is located so you may need to search on where to find it.
