gspotter2001 Posted August 21, 2001 Share Posted August 21, 2001 why do you have a shortcut to "my computer" on you desktop? if you go to "display properties" than "desktop" then "customize desktop" you can add the standard desktop items! - my documents - my computer - my network places - internet explorer I see a lot of people don't know this... cheekymonkey Posted August 24, 2001 Share Posted August 24, 2001 It could be that you haven't turned Cleartype on to utilize anti-aliased fonts.( ? ) I don't have XP, but I think you get to it through Display Properties then effects - hopefully someone out there can correct me.
