It's business as usual, and the movie's just as amazing as the TV series. :) I seriously hate Fox for cancelling Firefly after just one season, although Serenity thankfully does tie up most of the loose ends left over from the series.

Just watched this. Umm, looks like I wasted an hour and a half. :/

The animation was weird at times; state-of-the-art CGI in some places every now and then, but mostly it just looked like that old Dragon's Lair game. Oh, and some parts of the soundtrack were so bloody awful, you could tell this was a Hollywood animation. "OK, we've got a post-apocalyptic space film here. What should we put in this montage scene here? A cheesy pop rock song!" No wonder it was a flop.
