I tried reading the books [The Red Riding Quartet] those are based on - barely got through half of the first book - the writing style, where every 4th word was the 'C' word, and other things, creeped me out.

The 'films', however? Awesome. When Andrew Garfield was announced as the new Peter Parker, the Red Riding Series, along with Boy A, were the films I recommended everyone check out

6/10 Would've been better if they didn't try so hard to make a likeable a*****e out of the main character, RDJ style, Seth failed and they ended up with just an a*****e who was annoying through half of the movie.
