[Official] Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Having control of the chopper lasts WAY too long. They need to trim that down to 15 seconds max. He easily got 7-10 kills each time he got the chopper...not really liking how unbalanced that is...

I'm a bit worried too because the chopper sat where they spawned and it made getting kills way to easy.

Kinda hard to kill him though when all he has to do is fall back, look to the other side, get a couple kills and he has another kill streak and wipes them out again...

Umm let's just remember, he is a sniper so killing him isn't difficult. Go around to the side and just shoot him. If he has UAV and sees you coming, it still isn't a big deal because as long as you aren't a sniper, you have an automatic gun and are within a close distance to him.

He had his machine gun as a secondary too. but I agree, the spawning of the chopper and the amount of time the user got to control it don't seem balanced AT ALL :(

Wtf is up with this game - I just watched the WA2000 sniper video, first of all that weapon is not even in prodution anymore and hasnt been for years. Second of all, you can dual wield sawn-off shotguns. What the hell were they thinking add sawn-off shotguns to the game!?

dont they still need a central server for things like matchmaking and stuff?

Exactly

IW servers will crumble tomorrow :p just like COD4

Game arrived this morning, PC version, and it REQUIRES steam and an internet connection to install. I've got my PC sitting here with no internet at the moment due to building works, and am now forced to use my laptop to play it which has wireless connection. Another kick in the teeth for PC users, thanks Activision.

Edit/ and now it's saying my CD key is invalid -_-' I'm running out of teeth activision...

Edit2/ because it's not released yet so steam stops you installing and says code is invalid. So i get it delivered a day early and cant play even single player, yet console users can. Awesome.

Yep I ordered mine from shopto also. Was sent out on the 7th with before 12 delivery paid also, but my tracking number doesn't work either. Now I'm pacing up and bloody down watching for the van.

Wut ? so even buying retail you have to use steam :| ?

Wow, PC gamers are sure getting the pwned this time around. Neutered game, and it's Steam locked even if you buy it early retail lol

Amazing.

Having it connected with Steam is a good thing, Punkbuster cheat protection is 10x worse.

Although everything else, thoughts already shared :p

I went with the console version, seeing as I got it for the same price the PC version would be and there's actually basically no benefit to getting it on the PC now over console... aside from graphical improvements.

lol just read this.

They're "arcading" MW2 out to the max, it shall be fun but it'll be even more like Halo than ever before now. I still can't wait for the noobs to proclaim it's the most realistic FPS they've ever played :p

    • Microsoft's fast coding model MAI-Code-1-Flash comes to Copilot Business and Enterprise by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft’s recently announced MAI-Code-1-Flash model is now generally available to GitHub Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise customers. With this support, organizations can have more centralized policy controls and billing while finally being able to use Microsoft’s lightweight, first-party coding model. According to GitHub’s announcement, Business and Enterprise plan administrators must enable the MAI-Code-1-Flash policy in Copilot settings before developers can access the model. Microsoft says that MAI-Code-1-Flash is for fast, iterative coding work rather than the most demanding architectural or debugging tasks. GitHub’s official model comparison page says that the model is great for "general-purpose coding and writing," while it excels at fast, accurate code completions and explanations Microsoft introduced MAI-Code-1-Flash on June 2 as part of a broader collection of internally developed MAI models. GitHub subsequently expanded support to Copilot CLI, the Copilot cloud agent, GitHub.com chat, GitHub Mobile, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Eclipse, and Xcode, but said support for managed Business and Enterprise customers was still on the way. In Microsoft’s own benchmark testing, MAI-Code-1-Flash scored 51.2% on SWE-Bench Pro, compared with 35.2% for Anthropic’s Claude Haiku 4.5. Microsoft also claimed that the model used up to 60% fewer tokens on SWE-Bench Verified. Do note that these are vendor-run results rather than independent measurements. The model is billed at provider list pricing under GitHub’s usage-based system. GitHub currently lists MAI-Code-1-Flash at $0.75 per million input tokens, $0.075 per million cached input tokens, and $4.50 per million output tokens. For organizations, the main incentive to use MAI-Code-1-Flash is likely to be efficiency rather than maximum capability. A smaller model that responds quickly and limits unnecessary output is quite useful for repetitive agent tasks at scale, especially after GitHub Copilot’s move toward usage-based billing. The "Flash" model is recommended for fast work and not necessarily for huge repositories with loads of context. It's better if teams compare their output with other larger models, especially if they're working on security-sensitive changes and complex, multi-file work.
    • yes AND no the "original" or plain/normal Optiplex 7010 won't be getting any more new firmware updates BUT the Optiplex SFF/SFF Plus {small form factor}, Micro/Micro Plus & Tower/Tower Plus 7010 editions DO get new updates such as this new one   and here are similar guides from the Dell web site for Dell systems: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000390990/secure-boot-transition-faq https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000347876/microsoft-2011-secure-boot-certificate-expiration
