[Official] Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Yup "Overwatch" I think is the name with the AC130 mission

That one is easy to complete on veteran as the guy running on ground wont even have to fire a single shot :p

I would disagree, there's always one or two enemies that can hide indoors etc, at least that happened to me and whoever it was on Neowin I was playing Spec Ops with earlier.

Got proper shotgun'd in the face too, lol.

What's the mode with the bomb planting called again? I kicked ass on that earlier, 4 successful plants, explosions and round wins from me in a row :p

Reminds me a bit of Counterstrike when playing that mode (aside from the respawning duh!).

Player invites are working perfectly for me on the PS3 now.

Detonation mode isnt it? I LOVE that mode because it is so Counter-Strikish. Tons of fun

WOOT!! Got wifi working at the hotel.. I was sooo worried because everytime I try to connect to the internet at the hotel, it has you open a webpage and click login basically.. But I called the company of the wifi the hotel uses and the tech guy told me, sure man, we have people connecting Xbox's all the time.. Matter of fact there are 3 other xbox's in your hotel right now.. So he hooked me up. I want to go stand in the lobby holding my MW2 box to see if anyone walks up and talks about it to see if they are playing it.. But in todays world, somebody may find out what room I am staying in and break in and steal it. :p

This game is making me Bipolar. One min I'm enjoying my self on a lag free game, beating the **** out of everyone with my mouse skills then all of a sudden it'll **** me off when the game suddenly throws it's toys out of the pram and drops everyone and kicks me out of the game.

I am the master of the flukey shot with a sniper rifle today. Got a headshot from one side of the map to the other on that derail map, started giggling like a little girl. :(

You should try Search and Destroy, its exactly like CS including no respawns.

I literally cannot get enough of Team Deathmatch at the mo (not yet tried any of the other modes), thing is though - I seem to be doing a hell of a lot better than I was in MW.

More likely than not, I will now finish the round within the top two of my team - whereas in MW, I'd often struggle to get higher than the bottom.

So has it been made easier (although, only the maps could be 'easier' as theres obviously no ai online), or have I just become awesome? There do seem to be a hell of a lot of camp-friendly places on these maps, as opposed to very few last time round. Not that I camp, of course..

That said, if I played any of you lot, I don't doubt you'd make me eat my words.

It has certainly gotten a lot easier if you have a tactical playstyle ( I refuse to say camping, I feel it's a negative word to a viable tactic ) - So many options and possibilities perk and map wise to stay hidden and sneak up on enemies now. I love how you can silence every weapon now and even snipers get a decent secondary weapon without losing a perk spot. I also love the fact with these new open maps, claymores and that sort of crap isn't viable anymore - I can cound on one hand how many claymores I've seen and hand on heart, I have only seen one getting killed by a claymore, massive improvement.

It's amazing how they balanced the two types of play styles - The twitch players who run around at 50mph gunning down every moving object and the tactical, slow moving players can actually co-exist.

After I got cold blooded, Hardcore mode became 10x as easy and 20x as fun.

I'm not a big fan of the heart beat detector, yes it does give you a general direction of the enemy but you tend to rely so much on it and just stop every fifth second to "ping" in front of you. You also tend to forget the ninja perk - So I just rely on reaction time and the time wasted on looking at that monitor can be used to scan the battlefield - A scope and a silencer is my preferred combo.

Also got a bit of a question, me and a friend was discussing it; what is the point of the holographic scope beside variation? I mean, it has more clutter within the scope than a red dot plus the mounting itself is bigger, sometimes limiting the view - Am I missing something?

It helps as a sniper, when you're zoomed you can often hear the *PING* of someone attempting to creep up on you.

Barrett .50 Cal + ACOG + Silencer with Bling (duh), Stopping power and Scramble = Good class ;)

Quiet, Sneaky and discreet. :p

Also... Can you level up in a private match? Do you get your killstreaks? Me and a mate want to test out the nuke :p

I tend to just cover my ass by constantly checking, you don't need to sit still for 10 minutes at the time to be an effective sniper in this game.

The Ninja perk makes you invisible to Heartbeat sensors. Cold blooded pro for everything else.

Seriously? Ya'll are using an ACOG on a sniper? ACOG sucks so hard on the .50 cal. I hated doing that. Give me my .50 cal with Thermal and FMJ and it's over.

Nothing can beat a Thermal Scope on a sniper.

Yes, but it's seperate from Live.

    • Just install Linux Mint that is a real blessing and many times cheaper because you can continue using your old Windows computer/laptop with the latest Linux updates.
    • Interesting share -- however it does not make sense: Email messages get stored somewhere, so how is Delta Chat "based on email" and decentralized without actually storing anything? By Web3 standard practices, the various Relays would require dedicated storage to make messages available to the recipients (like a large series of message queue channels, akin to racks of traditional post office boxes)... and Contacts must be two-way confirmed in order for encryption keys to be exchanged (ostensibly every key-pair is uniquely bound between sender and recipient) and the Relays would preserve the public keys in order to facilitate message carriage... or every device stores all sorts of keys and contact info. All of this to say, decentralized messaging is like running Bluesky nodes except instead of discovering/browsing public feeds by various posters (at the given node) these Delta Chats would be relaying encrypted messages (via Relays) that only trusted recipients would have the appropriate decryption key (their own private key) to read it. But this doesn't solve the "it's like email" sales pitch. The only way it's like email is that there's encrypted binary stuff being transported from your app into the federated ether of Delta Chat Relays for others to decrypt (hopefully only the intended recipient)... but outside of this federated relays framework, it is absolutely nothing like email.
    • Hasleo Backup Suite Free 5.8.2.2 by Razvan Serea Hasleo Backup Suite Free is a free Windows backup and restore software, which embeds backup, restore and cloning features, it is designed for Windows operating system users and can be used on both Windows PCs and Servers. The backup and restore feature of Hasleo Backup Suite can help you back up and restore the Windows operating systems, disks, partitions and files (folders) to protect the security of your Windows operating system and personal data. The cloning feature of Hasleo Backup Suite can help you migrate Windows to another disk, or easily upgrade a disk to an SSD or a larger capacity disk. System Backup & Restore / Disk/Partition Backup & Restore Backup Windows operating system and boot-related partitions, including user settings, drivers and applications installed in these partitions, which ensures that you can quickly restore your Windows operating system once it crashes. Viruses, power failure, or other unknown reasons may cause data loss, so it is a good habit to regularly back up the drive that stores important files, you can at least recover lost files from the backup image files in the event of a disaster. System Clone / Disk Clone / Partition Clone Migrate the Windows operating system from one disk to another SSD or larger disk without reinstalling Windows, applications and drivers. Clone entire disk to another disk and ensure that the contents of the source disk and the destination disk are exactly the same. Clone a partition completely to the specified location on the current disk or another disk and ensure that the data will not be changed. File Backup & Restore Back up specified files(folders) instead of the entire drive to another location to protect your data, so you can quickly restore files(folders) from the backup image files when needed. Incremental/Differential/Full Backup Different backup modes are supported, you can flexibly choose data protection schemes, which can improve backup performance and save storage space while ensuring data security. Delta Restore Delta restore uses advanced delta detection technology to check the changed blocks on the destination drive and restore only the changed blocks, so it has a faster restore speed than the traditional full restore. Universal Restore This feature can help us restore the Windows operating system to computers with different hardware and ensure that Windows can work normally without any hardware compatibility issues. Hasleo Backup Suite 5.8.2.2 changelog: Improved creation of bootable media that supports the UEFI CA 2023 certificate Fixed an issue that caused system restore to fail Fixed an issue where file backup could not list drives under Windows ARM64 Fixed an issue that caused backup of MacOS files/folders shared via Samba to fail Fixed an issue that caused "Smart Backup" to not work properly Fixed other minor bugs Download: Hasleo Backup Suite 5.8.2.2 | 39.7 MB (Freeware) Links: Hasleo Backup Suite Website | Hasleo Backup Suite Guide | Screenshot Get alerted to all of our Software updates on Twitter at @NeowinSoftware

    • I looked into a few echo devices to find they were riddled with adverts over time. No thanks ill stick to my homeassistant, smart plugs, smart bulbs and cameras that don't cost me a monthly fee and are cheaper to buy. No adverts also.
