from fourtwozero: #MW2 Update in Test now: 1887s Balanced. Public "private" Match fix. Infinite Ammo fix. Prestige Hack on PS3 fix. Texture Hack on PC fix.

How about they fix the range on all shotguns too, just got blasted by a double shotty across the Quarry! Joke!

ABOUT MOTHER****ING TIME!

Good to hear.

Is there any update about them resetting the stats at all? This infinite ammo has completely ruined any of the stats aspect of the game.

Hope you don't mean a global reset as in everyone, because that won't happen. I haven't heard anything about the dodgy stats and stats from cheating players.

Not a global reset but some kind of reset for the past week (which sounds impossible I know). I'm just saying now that I haven't played the last couple of days with this infinite ammo thing I've been knocked back 100,000+ spots on the kills list and nobody on my friends list has a legit kill streak anymore. Most have a 60+ kill streak due to those infinite ammo matches.

just went to a ground war match that turned into a 18 person free for all cage match on rust O_O.

Where you with us by any chance? I swear so stupid, and that was the first time I have played the game in like a week, and sure enough first match free for all on rust. In fairness though it was fine after that, but still just so stupid to deal with.

All I know is I finally tried the Battlefield Bad Company 2 MP Beta on the PS3 last night. It is no secret on here I am a fan of Battlefied, so as soon as it hits retail bye bye forever Modern Warfare 2, and I really may just trade it in soon so I get some credit.

Did they fix the hit boxes and bullet detection?

I never had an issue with it like you did, but to answer you I was on the PS3 controller so was not exactly on top of my A game so to speak, have not played an FPS on PS3 since Killzone so was a but rusty on the controller, but I got a few headshots (Assault class not sniping) and I felt right at home actually. And since I am a Tank ###### I went right into one, and it does seem the Splash Damage has been tweaked a decent amount actually. Even noticed it with grenades and grenade launcher.

I just personally love the pace of BF 10,000 times more than MW2. I can actually gather my thoughts.

Larry remember what I said last night after we played Bad Company 2?

"I forgot we weren't playing Battlefield. I was trying to run to the other side of the town without thinking I was going to be shot"

Exactly, it's like unless I move around in buildings and all slow on MW2, I die way to much. Battlefield, perhaps it is because I have played it for a while now and I am used to DICE's map design I don't know, but Battlefield I never feel like I do not stand a chance and I can actually run in the open and maybe only die 10% of the time.

Honestly plenty of people like MW2 including a lot of my friends. It really is just not my thing. I may still play it here and there unless I do really trade it in, but last night really sealed the deal for me.

Is there any reason for me to wait for the DLC or should I sell the game? i would really like a firefight or zombie type mode.

IMO I thought 4 was a lot more fun. 6 just is too much chaos going on. Even on objective maps 1/2 of the team camps. People are too obessed with K:D ratio than anything. I just want to win...screw kd ratio.

I really dislike the overall design of most of the maps. I do love Airport though. I just feel like I'm in a box on the rest of the maps. And that outside map with the underground passage is just pure lazyness. They threw a map outside and put a + underneath. COMON!!!

The ranking system is fail. I dont really even have to talk about this.

Also the glitches have ruined the game for me. 90% of the games I played in the last few days are Rust Hardcore TDM. Its so much fun when you die when you spawn 10x in a row. And last week it was Javellen glitches. Oh yeah dont forget about the Ammo hack.

Bring on the new Battlefield!!!!!!!

Looking at the xbox leaderboards last night really blew my mind. Seeing the points/kills/deaths/streaks in the top 10 really is insane. Are these people gonna get banned?

I really do believe if Treyarch really want the gamer community to have a higher respect for them, the next COD game they develop should be specifically be based around Nazi Zombies. I really think a 4 to 8 player coop Nazi Zombie COD would be fantastic. And this wouldn't be left 4 dead either, because Nazi Zombies are slow and gets hard just by the sheer numbers

They have been up there for about a month now. Why they have not been banned yet I have no clue.

We pay money for live and we are getting crap for support on this game.

Good god you people act like no game ever has had bugs before. The problems are getting patched, what is the problem exactly?

Remember there was no Beta. This could of possibly been avoided.

The problems are...

People make private games and then convert them into public games. Such as 18 people on rust in Hardcore TDM. The rounds never end also which leaves the games open. In the last 2 days 90% of my games were this. In one game I witnessed a AC130 with unlimted ammo on rust. The person racked up about 100 kills.

Also when they patched the Jav. glitch they broke the game and now we have unlimted ammo glitch.

This game has sold well over 5 million copies. They should be working 24/7 to get these problems fixed.

How do you know they aren't? Are you a software expert?

    • Ignoring the fact that this "colony" kicked the empire of King George's arse during those early years... You are confusing the First Industrial Revolution (which was clearly pulled out of some butt-hurt Brit historian's arse after the fact) with the Second Industrial Revolution (aka now called the Technological Revolution, undoubtedly by that same butt-hurt Brit), which transitioned the world from the UK/UPS Empire to the USA as the world's only superpower. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Industrial_Revolution I hope you realize that I am having big fun here.
    • OpenAI announces GPT‑5.6 Sol, its next-generation flagship model beating Claude Mythos 5 by Pradeep Viswanathan Credit: OpenAI OpenAI today announced a limited preview of its new GPT-5.6 model series, which includes the Sol, Terra, and Luna models targeting different price points. GPT-5.6 Sol is the flagship model targeted at demanding reasoning and agentic workloads. GPT-5.6 Terra is positioned as a balanced model for everyday work, featuring performance competitive with GPT-5.5 while being half the cost. GPT-5.6 Luna is the fastest and most affordable model, delivering strong capability at a lower price point. Unlike previous model releases from OpenAI, GPT-5.6 is starting with a limited preview for a small group of trusted partners due to U.S. government restrictions. As expected, OpenAI previewed its plans and the models' capabilities to the U.S. government ahead of launch, and the government asked OpenAI to limit the first wave of access to select partners. OpenAI also mentioned in the official announcement blog post that it does not believe this type of government access process should become the long-term default. OpenAI highlighted that GPT-5.6 Sol comes with a robust safety stack featuring improved protections for higher-risk activity, sensitive cyber requests, and repeated misuse. The company also spent several weeks pressure-testing the system and hardening it against real-world attacks. On the capability side, as expected, GPT-5.6 Sol is OpenAI’s strongest model yet. It delivers better results in agentic performance across coding, biology, and cybersecurity. On the Terminal-Bench 2.1 benchmark, which tests command-line workflows requiring planning, iteration, and tool coordination, GPT-5.6 Sol sets a new record with a score of 91.9%, beating Anthropic's Claude Mythos 5. Additionally, GPT-5.6 introduces a new "max" reasoning effort for even deeper reasoning. The new "ultra" mode uses subagents to accelerate complex work beyond what a single agent can handle. Pricing starts at $5 per million input tokens and $30 per million output tokens for Sol. Terra costs $2.50 for input and $15 for output, while Luna costs $1 for input and $6 for output. GPT-5.6 comes with more predictable prompt caching, including support for explicit cache breakpoints and a 30-minute minimum cache life. Sol will also launch on Cerebras in July at speeds up to 750 tokens per second for select customers. OpenAI plans to make GPT-5.6 Sol, Terra, and Luna broadly available in ChatGPT, Codex, and the API in the coming weeks.
    • I'm not sure if you are trolling because I saw people saying this with the straight face, but there were no United States of America when industrial revolution started, just United Colonies 🤣 p.s. I'm not British, so I'm not offended.
    • Glad I uninstalled this incredibly buggy browser. Looking at that changelog, they clearly don't test their updates at all.
