[Official] Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Remember there was no Beta. This could of possibly been avoided.

The problems are...

People make private games and then convert them into public games. Such as 18 people on rust in Hardcore TDM. The rounds never end also which leaves the games open. In the last 2 days 90% of my games were this. In one game I witnessed a AC130 with unlimted ammo on rust. The person racked up about 100 kills.

Also when they patched the Jav. glitch they broke the game and now we have unlimted ammo glitch.

This game has sold well over 5 million copies. They should be working 24/7 to get these problems fixed.

FourZeroTwo has already said they are testing a patch to fix these issues. What more do you want?

How do you know they aren't? Are you a software expert?

No. I'm a average consumer that paid for something and did not get what was expected. The problem is I can not return it as you can with normal merchandise.

A partial refund on my XBOX live account for starters.

Edit: I'll call Microsoft in a bit.

Why would MS refund your Live fee?

I'm aware what the glitches are, IW is also aware and is in the process of patching them.

Good god you people act like no game ever has had bugs before. The problems are getting patched, what is the problem exactly?

When you charge ?10 more than anyone else for a game, you haven't really changed since the previous game, you kind of expect it to work out of the box.

What? jihad javelin patch was in certification for less than a week before it went live.

You don't think a week is a long time to allow a huge developer to push a simple patch that is pushing a lot of players over the edge  ? I think that's way too long.

If a glitch in a game is "pushing you over the edge" then maybe a week off from playing would be a good idea.

No, glitches and bugs are annoying when you are trying to enjoy a game, it can easily push anyone over the edge as it has done with a huge percentage of the MW2 community. So try another angle to your trolling attempts.

Differing opinion = trolling!.

You guys are acting like the glitches are just being ignored by IW when they are actively testing and patching problems within an acceptable amount of time.

This game just fell victim to its' own hype.

I think people just expected more from this game as a whole, considering all that's been pumped into it. Not to have it bombarded with these huge bugs. Makes them seem a bit negligent from the start.

Don't include me in that "you guys" as I know IW are releasing patches but Microsoft, as I just stated, are holding back these patches for way too long which hurts the players.

I'd rather have a well-tested slower patch than a quickly released buggy one.

I hope that comment wasn't in regard to my comment about the Microsoft certification process as those are not related, as soon as a patch hits certification it's not being tested for game purposes, it's just being screened and tested that it won't break anything related to the live network, break rules, contain anything illegal etc.

6 days is not "way too long".

For releasing a simple patch to fix major issues with a game you play? Yes it is.

I'm with this guy, I love the game and all but if it's having this much of a profound effect on some of you it might be time to diversify your hobbies... and further more, 10 inch storgina.

Profound effect, you people make it sound like a murder was committed over this game

Aren't people allowed to be annoyed any more without the local hippies crawling out of their tents, correcting and lecturing everyone

Have you been following the thread? Some are a little more than annoyed, in fact I can imagine sleepless nights spent tossing and turning.

It's just humorous and I don't really care either way.

    • Google Finance is now out of beta with improved portfolio tracking and a new Android app by Karthik Mudaliar Google is taking its redesigned Google Finance experience out of beta and adding several new features, including portfolio tracking, scheduled market briefings, and a dedicated Android app. The company says the updates are beginning to roll out globally this week, while an iOS app is planned for later in 2026. The most notable addition is the new portfolio feature. Instead of entering every investment manually, users can upload a screenshot, CSV file, or PDF containing their holdings. They can also tell Google Finance what they own using natural language, such as the number of shares held in a particular company or fund. Google Finance will then place those investments into a dashboard showing performance, asset allocation, concentration risk, and the holdings responsible for the biggest gains or losses. Existing portfolios created with the older version of Google Finance should appear automatically. The built-in AI research panel can use the portfolio as context when answering questions. For example, users can ask which sectors are underrepresented or how their fixed-income allocation could affect long-term growth. Google says portfolio data will remain private and that uploaded files and images will not be retained. Users will also be able to edit or delete their portfolio information after it has been imported. Google Finance is also getting scheduled tasks. These let users request recurring reports such as a daily summary of overnight cryptocurrency movements or a weekly update about newly announced initial public offerings. There is also a new Google Finance app for Android. It includes watchlists, interactive charts, real-time market data, a live news feed, and the same AI research panel available on the web. Google has been gradually expanding the AI-powered Finance redesign since it first entered testing. In April, the experience was expanded to more than 100 countries, bringing its research tools, advanced charts, and market news to a much larger audience. That was followed by a wider European rollout in May, which added features including live earnings calls, transcripts, and AI-generated summaries. The ability to import an entire portfolio from a screenshot or document should make Google Finance considerably easier to set up. However, Android users will have to wait for feature parity with the web version, and Google has yet to say exactly when the iOS app will arrive.
