[Official] Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

I guess the only reason I keep bringing it up is because I've never had it happen to be any other way and have been able to connect to ground war games with full teams. I just hate to see people tear matchmaking to shreds and make it seem like everybody is having problems. Sorry I said anything.

Just played team deathmatch in highrise and ended up with 26 - 2, not really that special of a score. And I get a message from one of the guys in the other team "nice glich ass". Not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not. And ya, he totally spelled glitch wrong.

I got a few messages like that when I got 39-2 (Something like that I think) on High Rise, they failed to realise that I got 2 x Predator/Harrier/Pave Low to help that score too. However, I did take it as a compliment :p

Matchmaking is still bunk. It took 30 minutes last night to get into a game here and there. Either we were migrated into a room that was screwed up (evident by missing mic icons) or we'd constantly drop people (which has nothing to do with NAT so don't bother bringing it up as a suggestion.) The sad thing too is that host migration is absolutely useless. I've yet to see the success rate go beyond 20% for host migrating. The other 80% of the time is the server timing out and it taking every back the lobby with a loss.

Exactly. This is my experience and it seemed to have gotten worse after the last round of patching.

We've discussed this before. Anytime somebody gets dropped is because of a NAT (in my experience). That person's NAT shows open (even though its closed) and he can never get into games with us. Put your Xbox in your router/modem's DMZ.

Me and my friends have even tried putting our pc's in the dmz without success (and seeing as our ports are forwarded anyway don't see how that would make it work)

There is one correct conclusion:

the matchmaking is ****.

Iv been dropped so many times, and the amount of times i get cannot connect to host or host timed out is becoming stupid

On a different note, i tried the one man army/danger close/grenade launcher combo and omg its deadly! easily rack up kills in very little time, and is quite amusing when ppl get stressed about you using it lol, just makes me go after them more

setup a static ip and ur good to go

I always find it amusing how upset people get when they are killed. I'm not exactly a god in Mod Warfare 2 but recently got this abuse:

I mean that is a bit harsh as I didn't speak to the guy, didn't pick on anyone particularly and certainly didn't send any abusive mails his way.

The funniest thing was Mr Skookie30 then spent the next game trying to stab me and I was on his team :D

I usually just reply calling them a scrub and then block them.

Wow, had an awesome session today. 63-10, 59-9 and a 54-5 were some of my best. We just kept playing people who refused to equip a stinger/javelin so whenever we had something in the air, they never shot it down! I'm also addicted to using C4 now too. :p

Yeah man C4 was and is my favorite part of MW2's multiplayer. Some of my absolute best kills have been using C4 :D

Am i the only one who is getting a little annoyed at the unlimited care package glitch? I've been playing Headquarters alot recently and it seems every other match there are one or two guys on the other team getting emergancy air drops every few seconds. Sure, they racked up 60 odd kills, but they still lost the match 200-0...

The problem is that no one cares about win/loss ratio - only K/D.

as long as i have the best K/D ratio in the game, and not necessarily the most kills. I'm usually happy with myself. Anyone can run around with a newb toob and just kill people. But staying alive the longest and getting a lot of kills is what requires the most still.

so in other words u camp? :p

    • Microsoft's fast coding model MAI-Code-1-Flash comes to Copilot Business and Enterprise by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft’s recently announced MAI-Code-1-Flash model is now generally available to GitHub Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise customers. With this support, organizations can have more centralized policy controls and billing while finally being able to use Microsoft’s lightweight, first-party coding model. According to GitHub’s announcement, Business and Enterprise plan administrators must enable the MAI-Code-1-Flash policy in Copilot settings before developers can access the model. Microsoft says that MAI-Code-1-Flash is for fast, iterative coding work rather than the most demanding architectural or debugging tasks. GitHub’s official model comparison page says that the model is great for "general-purpose coding and writing," while it excels at fast, accurate code completions and explanations Microsoft introduced MAI-Code-1-Flash on June 2 as part of a broader collection of internally developed MAI models. GitHub subsequently expanded support to Copilot CLI, the Copilot cloud agent, GitHub.com chat, GitHub Mobile, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Eclipse, and Xcode, but said support for managed Business and Enterprise customers was still on the way. In Microsoft’s own benchmark testing, MAI-Code-1-Flash scored 51.2% on SWE-Bench Pro, compared with 35.2% for Anthropic’s Claude Haiku 4.5. Microsoft also claimed that the model used up to 60% fewer tokens on SWE-Bench Verified. Do note that these are vendor-run results rather than independent measurements. The model is billed at provider list pricing under GitHub’s usage-based system. GitHub currently lists MAI-Code-1-Flash at $0.75 per million input tokens, $0.075 per million cached input tokens, and $4.50 per million output tokens. For organizations, the main incentive to use MAI-Code-1-Flash is likely to be efficiency rather than maximum capability. A smaller model that responds quickly and limits unnecessary output is quite useful for repetitive agent tasks at scale, especially after GitHub Copilot’s move toward usage-based billing. The "Flash" model is recommended for fast work and not necessarily for huge repositories with loads of context. It's better if teams compare their output with other larger models, especially if they're working on security-sensitive changes and complex, multi-file work.
    • yes AND no the "original" or plain/normal Optiplex 7010 won't be getting any more new firmware updates BUT the Optiplex SFF/SFF Plus {small form factor}, Micro/Micro Plus & Tower/Tower Plus 7010 editions DO get new updates such as this new one   and here are similar guides from the Dell web site for Dell systems: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000390990/secure-boot-transition-faq https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000347876/microsoft-2011-secure-boot-certificate-expiration
