The Walking Dead (Season 2)

They needed to create some love dramas guys, the girlfriends have to want to sit through this to find out what happens next in atleast some parts  Jokes aside, me and the misses loved the first 2. Deffinatly a show you don't want to end and wish would go on and on. Lets just say if it airs in Australia I will give it the proper support it deserves aswell with TV rewatches, something I have only so far done for Futurama.

Rick is the sheriff.

Lori is such a slut :p

I know. That's the only thing I dislike about the show. :pinch:

yeah plus she looked quite uncomfortable in that scene in the woods

Oh thats Rick

Then I understand Lori - he was in a coma for a looooooong time. On top of that the zombie outbreak came.

I would expect Rick was gona as well.

Good for Lori.

She obviously still loves him as she walks around with their ring - but she thinks he is dead

Thats my biggest problem with the story - how long was he in the coma? An IV lasts maybe two days at most, and the flowers weren't there that long. The longest possible since the flowers were there is about a week.

Theres a giant time problem that they won't address, but it bothered me a lot in the first episode.

True, his coma should have been for a half year or something - would suit it better.

Then Lori kinda was too fast to find another mate :p

I have to admit I didn't notice that

You're assuming the flowers were brought in when he first got to the hospital. Couldn't the flowers have been changed several times? I don't distinctly remember BackstabbingFriend coming in and saying, "Yo, welcome to hospital. Here are some flowers. I'm never coming back so make sure you look after them."

The scene with WoundedFatGuy coming back to save AnnoyingRacist showed him dropping a bag of sharp utensils. I'm sure he somehow manages to obtain one of those utensils and either frees himself or cuts off his hand ala pretty much every character in Star Wars. How he gets off the roof though is another matter. I'm willing to bet he trains a zombie to fly. Or maybe he bludgeons enough zombies to create a zombie ladder down the side of the building.

I liked that the car siren at the end went in time with the music. Quality.

The whole Lori story is being a little exaggerated as in the books it's a completely different story in the way she interacts with Shane; the main goal of the show was to keep up the suspense of the book, which they're doing, and it's obvious that the Lori thing is a story/ratings generator.

It kind of sucks that the main character's patrol partner is banging his wife. Did this happen in the comics or is this specific to the show?

As I said above, it happens in the books but the interaction is WAY different. When and where it happens is different, as well as the way Lori reacts to it.

The program is amazing but they can change it from comics, to be honest most comics are boring and having some what different story to a comic is better.

I'm not knocking them for it, just pointing out the huge difference in the two. I can totally and completely understand why they're doing it as it helps create a more intense storyline that eventually comes up later in the series.

Whoops. Thanks frank, didn't see your post. I posted my question without looking at this page.

I thought the scene in the forest was unnecessary. :/

it was pretty hot though

    • What I like about Paint is using it almost exclusively for cropping and resizing images I get elsewhere--it's quick, easy and cheap... I keep it glued to my taskbar, in fact.
    • I still remember it fondly today. It was so cool to work in 64-color Half Bright mode and 4.096-color HAM mode (interlaced) when x86 was still in 4-color CGA or 16-color EGA low res. C= never realized what it had until it was far too late--the failure of C= was the failure of its top management. The C= Amiga was 20 years ahead of its time, I always thought. It didn't hurt that in only 512k of chip memory, the Amiga could preemptively multitask when Apple was still doing gray scale graphics on tiny screens and along with everyone else was doing cooperative multitasking (running more than one app at a time in resident memory, but you could only run one of them at a time--had to manually switch between them.) I had a ball with AREXX scripting running between programs that had AREXX ports so that when you sent other applications data and instructions, those running applications could process the same in real time to output! Memories...
    • I'm not sure about that, but it at least "does" a version of 7.1 that this brand new card doesn't....

    • I can barely recall getting web results from a file search... I must've turned it off long ago. 26H2 is Insider's Preview build 26300.8697, which I am running, atm. It is not available for people running the standard commercial builds of Windows--only for the beta test Insider's group. But anyway, as mentioned in the thread, this feature has been around for a long time...
