I started watching this series on the weekend and IT IS AWESOME!!!

Please do not tell me this is only a one off, surely they will be making more?

yep season 2 has been commissioned and will air October 2011 for 13 episodes

OMG Yes! I am so happy right now :D

I love this show and to be honest it is the first TV series in a long time that I have really enjoyed. I have only seen up to episode 5, is there any news when more will be released?

well there's alot of speculation but there will be a season 2 either way! :D

nope only 6 in Season 1 :( so you'll have to wait till 2011 for 13 more!

Just finished the season finale. It was great! :D

According to Wikipedia, next season around October of 2011. :(

On December 3, 2010, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd commented that "It's completely inaccurate. [in] the writers' room, there are people that have set up other projects that will be their first priority if their own series is picked up as a pilot or if it?s a series. I think [Eglee] just decided that he wants to run his own show." She revealed that it is likely the show will return in October 2011, as Darabont and Kirkman plan on mapping out the next season early in 2011. She also confirmed that "every one of the principal cast is signed up for multiple seasons."

I liked it, it leaves alot to be answered which is why its good we have a season 2 :D

I wonder what the doc whispered to Grimes!

I dunno.. it wasn't as epic as I would've liked it. At least give us a cliffhanger or something to tease for Season 2.

oh and Doc probably whispered this

" Go to X town.. because there are survivors and your chances of surviving are greater than here.. "

-ish lol.

Producer Gale Ann Hurd reaffirmed that the fired writers story is inaccurate, and said that Frank Darabont and Robert Kirkman should be meeting up to plan out season 2 in early 2011. She also said that all of the principal cast is signed on for multiple seasons. [EW]

To be completely honest, I know that everyone is in love with this show, and my expectations going into it were very very high and I completely loved the first episode....

But I really think this show is waaaay overrated. I really think the acting, writing, and pacing are sub-par. I really expected a lot more considering Frank Darabon't involvement. Sorry to be a cynic.

Gotta lower those expectations, the show is on AMC not HBO/Showtime where they can really push the limits

How is AMC different than HBO/Showtime? They've already proved they could air violence, nudity, and swearing. Also, they have Mad Men, which is far superior compared to some shows HBO and Showtime have to offer

AMC's The Walking Dead hit a series high for its final first season episode Sunday night.

Six million viewers tuned in for the show's sixth episode, including four million adults 18-49. That's up 9% from last week -- which was also a series high.

If you include the show's 11 p.m. encore, the finale delivered a whopping 8.1 million viewers.

Walking Dead ended with a quasi cliffhanger that felt like a solid finish to the first batch of episodes while still leaving fans ready for more zombie action -- which may not happen until next October, the current target date for the 13-episode second season.

      The site is pretty sparse on features / tech specs. Can I plug it into a PC/hone/Switch via USB-C and use it as an external display? If so, what's the virtual resolution of the screen, the refresh rate, PPI of the image etc? Is the text crisp enough to use for coding at say 12pt? Is it good enough for playing dark games, like say Path of Exile 2? How about fast games like car racing games? Just how do they expect anyone to order this thing without giving out all this info?
