The Walking Dead (Season 2)

Rick's chang was great, but his explanations of the events he was trying to tell everyone was horribly done. He should have easily said, "Shane lured me into the woods after killing whomever, and then held a gun to my face, saying to either defend or die." Instead, he goes around this, and makes his story seem like he sort of tortured Shane a little and let his kid finish him off. It was just horribly written.

^This. He just made things more complicated.

I was at a finale party with a bunch of other friends, and we couldn't help but just laugh and mock what we were hearing

. The whole time Rick is trying to explain what happened, to both Lori and Everyone else, he fudged it up royally. To Lori, he made is seem like he tortured shane and let his son just finish him off, instead of his son killing zombie Shane, which was never mentioned to Lori. Then when he is around the group, he just makes himself look like a mad man, saying how Shane had to be taken out and how he was pushed... but never once explained exactly how he was pushed. He just said, " You saw what he was doing!", and this was already after everyone basically sided with Shane about the barn and what do with the hostage.... Just wasn't very well written or thoughout.

I also thought that the ending was pretty bland. They could have switched some scenes, showing the prison first, then ending with Michonne revealing herself, which would have been more suspenseful. Or they could have shown us a little of the "prison" life, to let us know just sort of what the group is about to actually head into. But I felt that the pan over of the prison just didn't add enough drama or suspense for how a season finale should be.

I thought the final was great. Really exciting. And that part just before the end with the samurai wielding woman with the two chained walkers had me going OMG! - That was really interesting and I can't wait to see that play out in the next season.

She is badass, you will like her.

They are going on a completely different path than comic, in comic dale was alive when shane died and he supported and warned rick many times about shane. People questioned Rick's leadership in prison, and the way he explained things was total awesome, specially " we are walking dead " part. I think they did a good thing about revealing prison in show, now people wants to know ( excluding comic readers ) what that place is. One more thing, i really want to see Daryl in comic, he is an awesome character. Sometimes i think he is substitute of Tyreese.

It makes a HUGE difference.

Let's say you and I find a nice, safe spot to hole up. Before, it would have been fine if you suddenly had a heart attack in the middle of the night. I would have woken up, found your un-bitten corpse and threw you out. But NOW, I have to worry about it. You have a heart attack while I'm asleep and I become instant zombie food.

Yea, HUGE difference.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic but how did Rick know if Jenner was just some crazy man (albeit a scientist) filling his head with crazy theories? As the leader of the group, it's sort of Rick's job not to tell the group all these wishy-washy theories he wasn't 100% sure were true and cause unnecessary panic.

Also they need to quit killing off characters i like. If the Asian guy or the old man dies, im done, haha.s.

agreed...I hope they keep Glenn and Daryl to the end..and they won't be getting rid of Rick or Lori unless it's the ending of the last season.

Daryl is awesome, but they haven't done his character right yet. They keep bouncing him from almost hero to total asshat. One episode he is totally onboard with helping, another he is complaining and trying to be a loner. His character though is a total replace of Tyreese. I see Michonne and Daryl having a relationship in this version more so than what it was written out to play as. Just because Tyreese hasn't had a single important role or line in the whole 2nd season, and in the first, he was still just "the black guy" basically lol.

agree, and one thing still hitting my head, that randall's group is "Governer's group". And merle could be governer. He has grudge against rick for "forcing" him to cut his hand, so he will cut rick's hand.

David Morissey was cast as the Governor but Merle will be part of the group

All throughout both seasons now, one thought keeps going through my head: please let Lori and Carl die. Or at least put that brat on a god damn leash.

"OMG, HE'S NOT IN HIS ROOM!!"

Well no **** you horrible mother!!!!

I'm finding the comic a bit boring, so far the TV show has more memorable moments, one thing that is better in the comics is more exploration, but Rick in the comic is just an ###### and the way the comic writes it's as if it's just 1 person theres no unique peronality to the way the characters speak and I wish writers would realise making a charcter say fcuk every 4th word is just annoying and not badarse.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic but how did Rick know if Jenner was just some crazy man (albeit a scientist) filling his head with crazy theories? Define "unneccesary" panic. You're living in an unbelievable world of zombies. Obviously, the rules have changed.

There's no such thing as a "crazy" theory, anymore. If your girlfriend, wife, or random stranger you've added to the

group dies in their sleep, and/or while you're asleep, that's EVERYONE'S problem. Definitely something everyone

needs to know.

And for a specific example, you've got old people in the group. Up till now, they've kept a guard posted watching

OUTSIDE the perimeter for zombies trying to get in. The fact that they haven't been watching for the old guy

(or anyone else) to kick the bucket in his sleep means the only reason they aren't zombie food is luck.

As for Rick's change, I get the feeling part of it is he's liberated. Shane wasn't just a dictator personality, he was

also on the crazy side. When you're standing next to that, it's like having a mirror and seeing what you don't

want to become. Rick doesn't have that mirror anymore.

    • Most AI-powered mainframe migration vendors expected to fail by 2030, Gartner warns by Paul Hill Credit: Pexels You may have read that many companies still run code written in ancient programming languages like COBOL and pay a handsome sum for those who can maintain that code. Well, it looks like this area of the tech world could be the scene of an AI bubble. It turns out that there are mainframe exit vendors, helping companies move their legacy mainframe systems to modern cloud environments or servers such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, using generative AI tooling. Unfortunately, 75% of these vendors are now expected to pivot or cease operations as market realities take hold by 2030. Alessandro Galimberti from Gartner said: Some of the companies in the mainframe exit market are IBM, 21CS, BMC, Broadcom, Rocket Software, DXC, GTSG, and Kyndryl. The reasons some of these firms are expected to quit the market are a reset of market expectations and a decline in demand for one-size-fits-all migration solutions. The reset in expectations is likely to be driven by cost overruns and threats to business, and the potential occurrence of critical failures within businesses as a result of bad transition implementations. These insights from Gartner are pretty interesting because it’s a specific area of the market where doubt is being cast on generative AI. Many people have cast doubt on whether AI companies will successfully justify the massive amounts spent on GenAI to date, and this data from Gartner suggests the road could be rocky for GenAI.
    • Heaven forbid they lose pennies from their Trillions! Like always, the consumer pays the most. Why is Tim Cooks even talking.....shouldn't he be packing up his office??
    • If you have the budget...! Some solo or indies just want to either learn or start their game and aren't in a capacity to pay salaries or to contractors... Get real.
    • Source and more 35 years old?! And if my maths is mathing, that means she was around 10 when The Ring came out?! Damn...scariest 10 year old I think I've ever seen.
